Overall good hotell

Very quiet room, excellent bed and clean room. Metro stop nearby as well as bus stop to central Helsinki.

Great hotel with great breakfast. The location is excellent as it’s close to the market and metro. The receptionist Ella is super helpful. We had dinner on the last night and they brought out a cake for our grandma’s birthday. Will definitely stay again

Everything was wonderful. The front desk folks were amazing and went far and above what was expected! The metro location was a quiet near the hotel.

We mistakenly booked the City center Holiday Inn instead of Airport one; Melissa the receptionist was very friendly and understanding and helped us make the switch to the Airport one.

Service in reception was slow. And in the extremely slow, seemed like there we no one working and reception personnel

Staff are always super friendly. Meals are freshly cooked and served with a smile.

Very spacious room and bathroom. Lighting was great, I felt very comfortable inside the room and in the restaurant.

I stayed here for 3 night on a business trip to Helsinki. The location was convenient to my meetings in Ruoholahti. Otherwise would not probably pick this location. Having said that the underground station is a walking distance away so it's easy to reach any location in Helsinki. The hotel is fairly new and modern and the room was comfortable. On the downside were the fact that the room was a bit cold eventhough I had the heating on highest setting, wi-fi was spotting during my stay (apparently they were doing some works on it) and one evening a long, black hair (definitely not mine) had appeared on my toothbrush in the bathroom. I'm guessing it's from the house keeping. Breakfast was good and also enjoyed the sauna. All in all, pretty good. But probablt not going to stay again since can't risk a spotty wifi (need it for my work) and the location is not ideal unless particularly aiming for Ruoholahti.

The room was so clean and quiet that it was so nice to relax. Also, the water pressure is good and the hot water comes out well. The breakfast is so delicious and the staff are so friendly.

Lovely location

Good sized room and very clean throughout the hotel. The breakfast had a great selection of food for all dietary requirements.

Holiday Inn Helsinki West- Ruoholahti Enjoyed a 4 night stay mainly to watch the UEFA Supercup match. Was given room 807 on the 8th floor, what a fantastic view over the water, park and in the distance could see the Olympic Stadium Tower. The room was very comfortable, nice comfortable double bed, large tv, fridge, usual kettle, ironing items, digital safe and slippers/housecoats. I plugged in my Amazon firestick to the hdmi port on the tv so then had access to Netflix/Amazon video etc The wifi was very strong. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with a good selection of items, the morning after the uefa match myself and I think many others slept in, I went down at 0930 and was difficult to find a seat for breakfast however the staff working done a fantastic job in clearing tables and keeping fresh food available, big well done to them! Hotel location is just out of the main area but only two stops on the metro and your in the main train station, or the bus outside take you in too. Outside the hotel there’s always been plenty of these e-scooters which are handy to ride to the metro station or for me to hesburger! There’s also a small supermarket across from the hotel for stocking up snacks etc For transportation I downloaded the HSL app so bought tickets using the app, also I used Uber/Bolt apps for taxis. If you use Bolt then use my referral “RONNIEKPZ” I used bolt from the hotel to the airport and cost was €25 that was because I was a new user.

The agent at the front desk was a woman of many talents! Bar keep, delivered a fan to our room within minutes of the request and saved us from getting locked in the laundry room!!!! The property was wonderful and that was the second full week I’ve stayed there! I will continue to do so next time I visit too! It is conveniently close to the metro and 24 hour grocery store and some fast food restaurants.

I had booked a three night stay at this hotel during easter. Its location is a bit outside the city, but only a 5-10 min metro ride from the city centre. The room was good, although perhaps more 3-star than 4-star hotel. The door to my room wasn't quite as it should so there was a small gap that meant you could hear everything going on outside on the floor. The general standard of the room was quite ok, but the bed-mattresses didn't stay in place, which could have been easily solved by putting anti-slip pads under them. The cleaners entered the room even though I had put a "Don't disturb/clean"-sign on it, and even though they had cleaned they didn't refill the soap and likewise amenities. The breakfast was good and well-prepared. Best scrambled eggs I've seen in a hotel, very creamy. The rest of the selection was not bad, but I have been at hotels that have quite a lot more to choose from in the same price range and stars. Staff is friendly and helpful - all in all, a good hotel.
