The hotel is nice and located close to our office. However if you arrive after 9.30pm there are very few options for eating as everything closes early in the area.

I was a bit reluctant initially as it was expensive. I needed to book 2 rooms. I am glad I did choose GLO for the following reasons:
1) The room was so quiet. Finland is quiet in general but having a super quiet room helped to adjust to the new time zone.
2) The ventilation system is superior compared to many hotels I have stayed at around the world. It's quiet and does the job properly so the room does not smell musty.
3) The room was small but that is typical of Europe. Did not feel suffocating thanks to the high ceiling. Also, the bathroom is an American size bathroom so it was a pleasant surprise.
4) Breakfast was top quality. Porridge was the best. There were many other options such as crepes. I felt I was eating high quality, good ingredients food like the whip cream and jam unlike high fructose garbage offer in hotels in America. Eating bad breakfast in American hotels will lead the population to needing American size bathroom.
5) The location is so convenient. It's fast to take the train to Helsinki or to the other direction. There are couple of supermarkets 2 minutes away to grab food. There is no unsafe area in Finland so I need not to comment about the safety of the areas outside of this hotel.
In conclusion, I am glad I chose GLO. I encourage American visitors to check out GLO to experience the difference in the architecture quality and food quality.

Nice beds, silent room, great condition. Breakfast could be better, but that's on par with other hotels. I prefer this to the other large hotel chains

Nice quit hotel located next to the big shopping mall Sello and very close public transportation that can take you into Helsinki. The breakfast is a bit boring and the breakfast staff are slow to fill up the breakfast buffet and also clean up after the guest

Great location. With the shopping mall next to the hotel the services not available at the hotel (restaurant and gym) were easy to find. Check in and out was fast and service good. The room was clean and spacious. The bed met my needs were well. For our one night sleepover in Espoo served us well.

I stayed for 2 nights on business... during COVID19 times, even though the hotel was quite empty I had a great stay. Nice room with a great bed and corner view, good breakfast, and best of all super friendly staff. I can really recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel with wonderful touches. Mattress was sublime and breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend, not a lot around but was super comfortable and very nice small touches in the room. Slippers were amazing too :)

The hotel was really nice!! The bathroom amenities were lacking a bit. For example, no wash cloths, shampoo/conditioner or lotion provided. Bed was really comfy and very clean. Great location right next to a mall with lots of great shopping and restaurants.

Had a good stay at the hotel. No complaints. Good standard for the price you pay and well worth if you're looking for a hotel in Espoo or just outside of Helsinki. Good hotel for me on my business trip.
