I loved this place, everything is really good, the view is incredible. One blond hair woman from reception and the activities guy who gives chairs and umbrellas on the beach they were really nice with us. The only person who was no good with me was woman (Black woman and short curly hair) I called before I make the reservation because I have my Service Dog for my Epilepsy, the person who answered the phone said I could bring my dog there; and that girl into the reception my last day there was so rude with me because I went into the reception with my dog…. For her, I’ll never comeback to this hotel…. For her I didn’t give to them 5 stars to the staff. She made me feel like a homeless.

There is not enough seating around the pool area. During our entire stay, we were unable to find chairs to use so we could relax by the pool. It was obvious that there is no procedure in place here that stops people from claiming big blocks of chairs all day long, even though they were not present in the pool area. Even though the"beach club"claims to provide towels, we did not have any the entire time we were at the beach. WiFi was less than acceptable at the hotel.

The ocean view from our room was beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the balcony with our coffee wrapped in a blanket whenever we were back in the room. We were about a 10 min walking distance to the arcade and food. Maybe another 5 minutes to Washington Mall. We took advantage of the complimentary golf cart transportation to the Washingron Mall. My teens loves it there. It was a good overall small getaway. Beautiful views and town.

Excellent location, the room very clean and with a modern style.

Location is what you’re paying for. Golf cart service into town is a plus. The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on— rock hard, felt my spouse move even the slightest. Sheets felt like like cardboard. Shower pressure is basically someone dribbling on you. Do yourself a favor and go to a different hotel, or rent an air b&b. Very disappointed for the amount of money spent for one night.

At over $600 per night, our expectations were not unreasonable. While the room was clean and well equipped (except for number of outlets and switches for interior lights) the noise factor from live music directly beneath our room until 10 o’clock one night and 8 pm the next. The sliding doors and windows actually rattled with the music. There was no opportunity to rest or an “early to bed”. When I called downstairs to report the loudness of the music, they just said it would stop at 10 pm. No effort was made to have them adjust the volume. My husband is a professional musician and commented that they were not even playing it well. So, we will never return or recommend this hotel. Especially at this price! Even music lovers should beware!!

Perfect location for easy walk to the beach and a nice walk to mall area. Harry’s bar and restaurant is great at the property with live music. Would definitely book again.

Amazing location, beautiful views. Close to everything you need in cape May. The restaurant is convenient and the pool is very nice. The room was a little dated, but it didn’t affect our stay. Very nice!

Great property, great access and view to beach.

Staff super helpful and welcoming. Place was clean and spacious. Close to the ocean: we opened our window at night and let the sound of the surf lull us to sleep. Good restaurants within walking distance (Lobster House, Quincy's Lobster Rolls, bakeries, hotel restaurant w/ live music). Would definitely go back there!

Love the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. The golf cart service offered by the hotel is a plus. Our driver Eric was great.. Very pleasant & personable. The only thing that I would have to complain about would be the fact that our room was right over the outside bar and they had a live band so it was a little loud

Loved everything about our stay

The staff was excellent and polite. Everything was easy and convenient for the guests from transportation to wait service at the beach.

I loved that Montreal Resort because it was right across from my favorite beach (Cape May). This hotel was exceptional clean. It was raining on my next day stay so I didn’t get to enjoy the onsite pool that seemed very nice and clean.

We stayed in Cape May, NJ on our way from Virginia Beach VA to Liberty Cruise Terminal in Bayonne, NJ. What a great we made with staying on the Montreal Resort Hotel which part of the Madison Resort Group. This was our first at this property and everything exceeded our expectations. Our rooms’ balcony opened up to Harry’s Bar and Grille rooftop bar. We enjoyed a great evening of cocktails, appetizers, and a wonderful view of the ocean. All the rooms face the ocean on Beach Street. We definitely would stay here again

Very convenient. Right off the beach and strips of good restaurants. Walkable distance from the Washington street mall. Gave us a corner room (#203) that has a sliding door to the staircase which we were not comfortable. Loud music from Harry’s but which was not bothered with closed window/sliding door. Not sure if we want to come back.

Convenience & location to beach

Great Place. wondeferful ocean views. Has a restaurant bar and golf cart taxi fabulous on busy weekends. Had a great time.

We had a 4th floor room with an excellent view of the ocean. The room was in great shape and a comfortable size. It was a easy walk to the restaurants, shopping, etc. Very much enjoyed ourselves. See you next year!

Clean nice location

I enjoyed my stay at Montreal Beach Resort. It was a comfortable room and easy check in.

For a quick overnight before the season, our room and stay was lovely. We saw dolphins from our balcony ocean view and watched a wedding ceremony on the beach. Staff was pleasant and the location was great.

Clean and attractive room with a wonderful ocean view. Great location and very easy to get to the heart of the commercial district. Maids were really conscientious and friendly. Harry’s Bar had a band on Friday night and the place was jamming! Id go back in a heartbeat!

Hotel was very clean, room service was great, quiet overall we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the ocean view room, looked newly remodeled, dining on the property and the check in staff were absolutely wonderful!!

Good location and nice ocean view from the top floor . Great bonus sun deck. The room was a bit underwhelming than others we’ve stayed at but if you aren’t spending much time there than it’s not a big deal. Staff is very friendly and Harry’s restaurant was delicious and casual comfort which we wanted.
