Exceeded my expectations in everyway. Friendly and attentive staff always willing to please. Breakfast buffet generous and varied. The ancient structure is the star of the show including rooftop views across the Candelaria.

Great hotel and location. Room very noisy - seemed to be located next to a failing electrical system

Not a great stay. The entry to the shower was extremely awkward and water everywhere. My door closed loosely so any movement in the hallway would make it sway with loud noice. The hotel was doing construction work in an adjacent hotel room and the paint used made the hallway and rooms smell like diesel all day. No fans or windows to open to let some air flow. Breakfast was bland, best part was the fruit. It was free so beggers can't be choosers. There's probably better hotel options in Zona G.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Nice room and great breakfast. The hotel is so much more interesting than a large chain. Good location in La Candaleria within easy walking distance of several museums and attractions and plenty of good restaurants. We would stay here again.

Hotel staff and service was excellent. Easy walk to Bolivar Plaza and shopping areas. A little longer walk, about 30 minutes to Monserrate. Everything except a few local restaurants shut down after dark.

A wonderful place that is close to all major sites. Service from all the staff was impeccable and the breakfast was great. Be sure to go to the restaurants in the hotel for great food and views. I will no doubt stay there again

This is really a 3-star hotel. It's recently remodeled, but it needs a deep clean (especially the shower). The customer service could also be much better.

The location can’t be better if you want to explore La Candelaria by walk. Very poor options for food. The breakfast is included but was just average and the dinner was not good and super pricey but staff was great and compensate the food situation.

We stayed at Hotel de la Opera for 3 nights. We arrived at the hotel at 7am. We could not be checked in but we had a lovely breakfast and then spent some time at the spa which was wonderful! Our room was very comfortable but I have to say it wasn't cleaned as well as we would have hoped. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. I would recommend Hotel de la Opera. The location is spectacular!

Shower wasnt the cleanest upon arrival and we were charged for 2 shower caps for use in the pool because they told us we received 2 upon arrival, which we didn't. Not the biggest deal but staff should take the guests word in my opinion... why would we gaslight them over a 75 cent shower cap?

Our third visit. Twice in old part, once in new. This time in old part. Quite up to usual helpful service. The Concierge was excellent in organizing the trip to the Congress and Presidents Palace. Extraordinary bureaucracy to navigate..and huge security.

Lovely vintage hotel in the heart of the historic Candelaria district. The staff was exeptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was a nice size, spotlessly clean and quiet. The windows opened and cooled the room nicely at night. We also liked the breakfast buffet including being able to order delicious cappucino!
Many tourist attractions are within a 5 to 20 minute walk. The perfect hotel!!!

A touch of luxury and old world charm in the heart of La Candelaria. We love the attention to details in our room. Only a couple of the staff speak fluent English but we appreciate the warmth & friendliness of the rest. The concierge (I forgot his name) packed us breakfast for an early check out & flight on Dec. 25. Thank you so much!!

Originally from Bogotá, never been to La Candelaria! Loved this hotel! The view was amazing! We actually extended our stay! Only negative was the service at the breakfast! Menu at the restaurant is small and limited! Overall loved this property! A must in Bogotá!

Staff super nice. Very walkable area. The spa was nice. The shower in our room was odd (not bad)no AC , but we went in october and the free breakfast wasnt great. I would recomend the hotel, with those adendums. But very walkable are

Hotel condition is fine. Location okay to visit historic center, but everything shuts down at night. Poor quality breakfast. Staff, particularly breakfast staff, not friendly at all. Would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is in good condition. Location is central to visit historic zone, but everything shuts down at night. Beds and pillows are as hard as a rock. Breakfast is poor quality and staff are not attentive to patrons or refilling breakfast items. Our toilet clogged, I called twice and no one came. My sister’ room bathtub also clogged. Staff was not friendly at all. Would not recommend.
