Swimming pool was nice, but disappointing for the girls as they couldnt stand in the pool without drowning . Would be nice if there was shallow and deep end

Staff are hard working and try their best but can’t cope with demand. Lovely location but hotel is very tired and needs updating off putting stains on carpets in the corridors and staircase. Swimming pool towels smelled awful rooms were ok lovely view from balcony. No double beds they put two singles together very uncomfortable for couples. Large bathrooms with large shower cubicle. Food is ok.Best thing about the hotel is the location it’s fabulous. The evening shows are nice extra too. Overall we enjoyed our stay and did lots of fun activities.

Rooms are older but it was a very Lovely hotel, lovely staff, very accommodating! Would def go back!

basic furniture, food quiet good, location very good but very noisy during the night from the bars around the hotel even after midnight. Comparing the services of the hotel with the services we were provided in September 2018 were much lower. Most probably because of the timing as there were not so many guets.

Pool area was about the only nice thing about this hotel. The rooms were unclean, bathrooms covered in mould and always flooded after a shower making the floor dangerously slippery. Towels were dirty, walls were so thin you could hear when someone was talking/showering/leaving thier room. Male staff were inappropriatley friendly (one came over, asked me how I was then stroked my hair as I was eating my breakfast alone!) would not recommend.

Cleaning staff took change from side table First day I thought I'd just misplaced coins, second day, I pointed out to my partner how much and where I'd put them. Returned to room after "clean" coins gone. Spoke to cleaner, coins returned, said he thought they were a tip. I've stayed in Icmeler more than 15 times, 5 different places, first time this has ever happened, it's not normal custom. Air conditioning is useless, doesn't work properly, room gets uncomfortably hot. Fridge keeps drinks slightly chilled, not cold enough. If you need to open balcony door to let in some air, the hotel next door (Aqua) has very loud music on until around 2400 every night. Restaurant is busy very early at each session. If you wait until it's quieter, they don't always refill what's gone (even salads) I felt the food itself was okay, it's just not a nice dining experience (rush and crush) Standard of cleanliness not good enough, balcony floor very dirty as was balcony fence, hall carpets, skirting etc In the gym, the recumbent bike doesn't keep the point seat set to, cross trainer doesn't work. Reasonable set of dumbbells, no bench. Male bar staff were rude, the female staff were fine. The grounds are excellent, well kept, large, plenty loungers and shady areas. Good size pool, nice beach.

The location of the hotel is second to none in İçmeler, right on the beach and near good pubs and restaurants. Had a great week here and will definitely go again. The staff are very friendly and will always go out their way to help if possible.

The rooms are fine; they are spacious and air conditioned and the bathrooms are big and spacious and although need some updating they are clean. The waiters and barmen are brilliant, pool is nice and quiet. There is also a very pleasant garden area which would be a beautiful haven of peace and quiet were it not for the relentless onslaught of pop music which is played until late afternoon each day. The food was plentiful and very Turkish (which I love). I think the All Inclusive deal is good value at this hotel, there is an endless supply of refreshments which I made good use of. I would also highly recommend pay extra for a Turkish bath and massage - I ended up having two! My main disappointment was thy gym. I had viewed my holiday as a bit of a wellness/spa/health break and chose the Marti La Perla because it looked as though it had a good gym. However, it was extremely substandard; it was very small and hot with no weights machines, not mat space and only a few pairs of very heavy free weights and just one single 4kg weight. I asked Guest Relations whether I could go and use the gym and Marti Resort, but they wouldn't allow it. The other negative was that my bed linen did not get changed, nor my room floor mopped, for the whole fortnight, which I thought was extraordinary. But overall I have stayed at much worse hotels in Turkey and I would recommend this hotel.

We were three days into our holiday and we were asked to move out of our room to another hotel because they decided to close for the season not very happy! also my friend was disabled in a wheelchair so it was very uncomfortable for her

We really enjoyed the stay at Marti la Perla The location of the hotel was perfect for beach lovers like us.The room was good and the balcony ofered stunning views of the sea and mountings.The pool was really nice and very clean with lots of space to relax and swim. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner had really good food selection of cookings from the traditional Turkish cuisine with lots of healthy choices.The staff was very attentive and friendly. We are planing to go back again.

Didn't realise they had gone into liquidation wasn't told a thing. Food really awful either meatballs or chicken if your lucky. Apparently Thomson's knew all about this and moved their customers and Thomas Cook pulled out completely. On our last night they were taking all the TV's from rooms. I asked reception to vacuum hallway their reply was we don't have one they are too noisy. At the bar run out of drinks. No entertainment for 10 days. Stayed here a few years ago and everything was brill. Felt sorry for reception staff who could hardly speak English. Their only words to me was finished. Everyone was getting compensation so I hope Expedia follow suit for me.The last straw was when the two chefs were fighting in front of guests.

Really nice hotel in a great location. Lovely pool and garden area and excellent pool bar. Food in all inclusive restaurant was excellent quality but there is plenty excellent restaurants nearby if a change is needed.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Food & drink very good. Excellent location, close to beach & not too far from town centre. Hotel was very clean & tidy.

nice hotel very very nice beach , think one of of the best beach of turkey reception very friendly Ferdi and IDIL tried to solve problems , WLAN was not working well , still not good working room also nice clean air condition good working - - as mentioned beach incredible nice very clean it is big pleasure to swim there breakfast rather good - in the morning you can enjoy it , but lunch and dinner poor ,only chicken and mince no taste most of the guests not satisfied - they promised to prove it after such ice cream afternoon pizza and hamburger between 12-16 , generally it seems ok but depend how much you pay for one day but staff very good , think young general manager dont control , still always in his room low saison I would come again , not high saison , prices are for high saison too much

Excellent adult only hotel in fantastic position with good friendly helpful staff that's nothing too much trouble Only down side is the pool depth for older none swimmers
