Very good location. The staff was very helpful. Only problem is if you have a car, there is always a difficulty to find a spot on the street to park.

Bed was hard, but I asked for some extra pillows and they brought them in about 10 minutes. Location was great. The a/c was awesome!!

Has a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at hotel da Bolsa. The staff were friendly, the rooms spacious and clean. It’s in the centre of the action and a perfect location for exploring the city. Would highly recommend

I recommend this Hotel, staff is very friendly and professional. As a Solo traveler I felt safe. Walking distance to the river.

This hotel was in a great location. However, it was outdated. The carpet was old. The elevators were really really old. The sliding door to get into our bathroom got stuck. The wood floors were scratched. The shower had mildew and leaked all over the floor, causing us to need two towels to dry it after showering each day. There was a dripping noise our third night that kept me up for hours. Again, nice enough staff, not disgusting by any means, and a great location. However, if you’re wanting something that feels nice, this isn’t that.

Great location as you can walk to everything, plaza around the corner has great street entertainment and cafes galore.
Street Parking is very difficult but we got lucky.

Love the smaller, authentic building vs a larger modern hotel, location was a definite plus. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was amazing, views from our room were breathtaking

The front desk was very helpful in getting us tickets for the hop on hop off bus and the river cruise.

The location was perfect, walking distance to everything there is to see. As we had a car, parking is, as everywhere in Portugal, a problem and ended up in a very expensive parking lot. Would be a plus if the hotel had a negotiated deal with the parking company or that their staff knew a tad more about what was around their hotel.

Just up the street from the Stock Exchange Palace. Had a lovely view of the Ribeira and the river. Enjoyed my stay, will stay again if I come back to Porto.

This is a great hotel in a great central location. Can basically walk from the hotel to anywhere in Porto. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are on the smaller size unless you purchase a bigger one and the elevators can only fit 1-2 people max which makes it hard for anyone with kids or extra bags. But overall the hotel is excellent and breakfast was very good with lots of options. The A/C worked nicely as well. I would recommend.

Description indicates parking available. When I called upon arrival to ask where the parking was located, the staff member chuckled and stated "we don't have parking. We have never had parking." I tried to explain what I read upon booking and later in person showed him the hotel description. He stated he couldn't help and there was no manager we could speak to. The room was very small and we woke up at 6:30 am to people screaming outside our window given the busier location outside. The shower drain and soap dish were coated with soap scum. The floor of the shower was wobbly.

This hotel is centrally located and it’s an easy walk to most of the touristy areas of Porto. The hotel is nice and the breakfast was very good. A wonderful coffee machine, excellent pastries, fruit, etc. I only have 2 complaints. 1). The hotels.com website says that there is limited on site parking. There is absolutely no parking — I confirmed this with management. We found an outdoor lot about a 10 minute walk away for $20 Euro for 3 days. 2) hotels.com says that the room choices include a queen bed. I booked either a queen or 2 singles. We were given a double which was small and when I asked about this, management said that they do not have any queen beds. The website needs to be updated. One other thing — our room was on the top floor so the view was nice, but the ceiling slanted and the bathroom door did not fully open, so it was a little tight getting in and out of the bathroom.Hotels.com needs to update their website.

We were on the 6th floor looking down on the Douro River, very close to some excellent restaurants. The location is excellent.

It's a nice hotel, you get what you pay for, I chose it because it supposedly had own parking but it does not. Internet signal was extremly weak, useless. The place is well located in dowtown, with shops and restaurants nearby. Room was clean. Staff is friendly.

Good location, clean. Breakfast is good. A bit noisy at night, especially on weekends.

The staff were exceptional - helpful and considerate in every way. The hotel is ideally located to help us make the most of our time in Porto.

The builfing dies not have any distinctive Portuguese features . I found the room quite hot and prefer fresh air to AC. The nature of the windows made it unlikely for it to be easy to open and shut them easily.
The breakfast was serviceable but dominated by machines e.g., coffee out of a machine, a vat of almost boiling water to boil an egg.
The staff, for the most part were curtious and helpful. The location is terrific; easy to access higher up near the university or lower diwn by the river.
