Our room was very close to the parking entry/exit which contains a metal grid. Every time a vehicle either came in, or went out, the grid made a loud clanging noise as each set of tyres passed over it. This amounted to a lot of noise inside a room with thin walls and single glazing! Additionally, the cleaning staff removed a box that was located on the floor in the vicinity of the garbage bin. There was very little floor space for luggage, so that is where we, unfortunately, left it. It contained a Tupperware container of Christmas cake, a packet of chocolate ginger, herbal tea bags, and washing powder and pegs. Clearly, none of it garbage! We had to follow-up with the reception staff on Monday morning to see if it had been found, as nobody had contacted us after we reported the loss the previous Friday evening.

The staff at this venue is amazing. Nothing is a problem. The food in the restaurant is worth going multiple times if you are staying there.

Great hotel, perfect for families, spacious room, central location in Devonport close to shops etc.

Clean tidy entrance. Great and friendly staff. Plenty free parking, excellent food. Great vslue for money.

Close to everything you need

Just there for an overnight stay, woken during the evening by some idiots in the carpark outside my room perhaps some thicker drapes or double glazing . Reception staff apologised in the morning at checkout , not their fault , if I stay there again I will be requesting a room on a higher floor otherwise all good .
