When I first got there, the neighborhood was not so great. I got charged for a room that was not mine. And Alam was so unprofessional about it and didn't seem to care that he ruined our vacation. There is very limited parking and our room had a not so pleasant smell. But the morning desk person I believe her name is Alyssa was very professional and polite.

We had booked 3 rooms. Air conditioner was not working in one room, water leakage in another. the cabinet did not have any doors.

I did not like the parking situation. There were only 2 handicapped spaces which we needed to use. But they were full both nights that we stayed. When you did find a space to park, it was a tandem situation. You had to park near the wall so someone could park behind you. If you parked behind someone you had to leave your keys at the front desk so your car could be moved.
The staff in the breakfast room was very nice though.

The staff was very nice and helpful, also the place was also very clean and my family really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

Despite name, not convenient to Universal (15-20 min drive in the morning with traffic). Area around the hotel very sketchy, not many convenient food options. Parking area under hotel VERY small with double parking, difficult to navigate in a larger vehicle. "Family" sized room on 2nd floor was literally originally a connecting king and 2 queen room, but with the door to the hallway on the 2 queen room removed, so the only way out was through the king bedroom. No seating area. Breakfast was lacking protein options with poorly microwaved scrambled eggs, soggy bacon, no ice even in water pitcher. Would not stay again, poor value for price and felt unsafe.

Staff was excellent with their customer service. Breakfast as nice with a good selection.
Parking was the bonus with no fee and easy to access the hotel.
Overall, well worth the expense for our trip to universal.

Nice stay. We stayed two night. Hotel was clean, nice for a short stay. Neighborhood looks kind of sketchy. Homeless people near by. McDonalds is very close and walkable. Parking was a bit small but there was enough spaces to park. Breakfast was ok. Eggs and sausage and waffles. Staff was nice. I felt safe in the hotel. Would stay again.

The property was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, nice and hot fresh. The room was very clean. I was very happy with this hotel. Outside surrounding neighborhood was a little bit scary, dirty, rundown.

Facility is aged and the surrounding areas were also in poor condition. The pool is small and in a strange location near the parking garage. The complementary breakfast was average.

Positives: the room was comfortable and clean, service was excellent, breakfast was delicious. It was in excellent proximity to Universal and much more affordable than closer properties!

Compared to the other choices around, this is a gem. Besides for the hair we found during our stay, everything else was great. The fact that it is a hotel and not motel was a major deciding factor. This hotel is very family friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel for any family.

There was a very strong cigarette smell when we first stepped off the elevator, despite the clear "no smoking" signs around the property. We were woken up each morning by loud guests and open walkie talkies by staff. It could also be a pain to bring our keys to the desk when parking in certain spots but we understand there isn't much that can be done about that. Overall, the room was clean and everyone was kind!

The area around the hotel is definitely not the best. The hotel itself is manageable, not the best ever but it was clean and the staff was great. Met our big family needs for our trip to Universal Studios.
