Enjoyed our stay. Good hotel, a bit dated rooms - showers quite small. Included breakfast was average - nothing wrong with average! Just not quite the quality of other 4 stars I have stayed at. A very good average hotel.

I loved this place it's not a fancy big hotel but quite small with small rooms and a private pool . Breakfast was a treat think of a bed and breakfast in a medieval town . It is in the city walls so you can pay extra for parking and have access to the city center . If you want big and fancy this may not be for you ❣️friendly staff clean and efficient I was truly impressed and had a great experience ☺️

Unique stay in a former convent. Small but comfortable rooms. Staff went out of their way to offer assistance. Volterra is a lovely town too!

The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The garden, patio and pool (not open in October) were beautiful.

The beds are very firm, like sleeping on a rock. They need a topper. Breakfast is poor. Woman is reception was very helpful and serviceminded. Parking is close! Pool area is nice. Walking distance to everything in town.

Vi fik et værelse ud mod gaden, med en umådelig larm…. Endvidere var badeværelset ukomfortabelt, hvor man måtte sidde med benene i brusekabinen, når man sad på potten… enten var badevandet for varmt eller for koldt… dog var der en dejlig gårdhave med pool… men nej der kommer vi ikke igen..

We didn’t understand that we had to reserve parking ahead of time, but we’re able to get a parking space after the first night. We found that the room wasn’t very comfortable and there were insufficient plugs to charge our phones. We had to unplug lights in order toCharge the phones. Not a big deal, but it made the room too dark to read in the evenings.

We had a superior double room with a balcony. Beautiful view from the balcony of the towers of Volterra and the stunning surrounding hills and valleys. Paying for the parking garage is highly recommended and saves hiking up from the city parking lots which all seem to be below the Centro Storico. Room furnishings were a bit basic for the price, but staff was very nice and breakfast was good. Perfectly located inside town. Overall highly recommended.

Friendly staff, clean and good location for walking around. We found designated parking spots for the hotel right close by but as we did not phone to reserve them first we had to move and park very far away and pay.

The location of the hotel couldn’t be better, Located in the middle of a medieval town in Tuscany.

This comment regards the reception personnel. While Paola was helpful and cordial, Ana that was in charge when we leaved, was busy with her personal cel phone making us wait to check out and would'nt allow us to remain one more minute at check out. Also while they have access to a adjacent parking, they do not have anybody available to help with the luggages to the car. We are a couple in their seventies and it was difficult to carry three lauggages to the parking since we were not allowed to park in front of the hotel to load. I am sure they can benefit with our comments and make easier for future customer. Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner but understaffed for service. We wouldn't return to this hotel.

Very nice, great location, and attentive staff. Within the city walls and easy to walk to anything.

This hotel is just inside the gate of the city but still in the ZTL zone so make sure to give hotel your cars plate number. I had one day reservation and added a extra day to see the town. Hotel is within a 15 min uphill walk to town center. I stayed because I had a car and needed to get rid of it a couple of days so this hotel worked fine for me. If coming from train station it's to far for me to walk. Breakfast was good, pool was fine and rooms a little smaller than I had hoped. If I go back with a car again I will stay here.
