Great location for a family vacation.it’s located 2-3 block from the Main Street, 5 minutes walk to the beach. We rented a 2br apartment, convenient for a family of 5. Rooms were outdated cosmetically but has all the convenient amenities including a kitchen . The hotel offered Limited parking spaces but it’s safe to park on street. Pool was amazing for the kids to enjoy with hot tub, steam room and sauna for adults. We will definitely rent again.

Location fantastic, nice town but hotel is not 4 star. Cooked breakfast awful, decor is dated . Nice pool. Just lower your expectations before arriving. Oh and the night porter was really weird and unhelpful after our ling journey- seemed a little stoned !

Receptionist was totally unhelpful & not friendly.

Comfortable hotel in centre of Deauville close to town centre, Arquana and racecourses. Good spa but a little overcrowded and the breakfast room is not big enough. No restaurant or bar but fridge, coffee machine and kitchenette in room

The room was ok, it was a bit cramped, but was with a little kitchen corner and all the necessary to use it. Staff were gentle, swimming pool and garden are smaller than in the pictures, as usual :)

Not clean at all, room, beds and bathroom were dirty. In my opinion this is not a four star hotel. Expensive and not worth your money

We finally got to enter our room with one hour delay and a "surprise": while the kitchenette and living room were pleasant, the number and type of beds were not as described in our reservation confirmation. Last huge disappointment: the bathrooms. OK size but so badly designed. The space was not optimized at all.

Hotel location very good. Walking distance from downtown. Room area is generous and very bright.

Overall, a good place to stay. Clean, nice accommodations. A little sparse on services. But we were there just out of season. Nice spa and pool.

hotel nice , gave us a one bedroom apartment, the hotel had a nice spa at no extra cost including jacuzzi, pool with massager, steam and sauna. no towels by pool and had to go to desk; desk closed before 8:30 pm;

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights. On the second day we noticed the door of our room was not locking at all. Anyone could simply walk into the room at any time. Long story short: we spoke to 4 different people at the front desk over the next 2 days; the issue was fixed only for a few hours then it broke again, twice!!! Two of the people we interact with were genuinely concerned and apologetic about the situation; the other 2 did not seem to care at all. Asking for a functioning door and a follow up from the Hotel Management is not an option at La Closerie.

Fantastic hotel. Location and amenities were great. Kids lived the pool and breakfast. Parents loved the room space, cleanliness and location.We would stay there again and again.

Excellent check-in experience, Hotel is close to Deauville shopping area, beach and walking distance to Trouville-sur Mer ( Appx 20 minutes), and exceptional location for a week-end, sea-food eating, walk and sports by the sea side.

The hotel was ideal for a couple of days away. Great breakfast, the staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice for couples and families.

Given the price, its an ok experience, but doesnt provide any fun...

Very pleased we booked this hotel. Friendly, modern and clean, conveniently located. I gave 'comfort of your room' a 4 rather than a 5 only because the bed (2 singles linked) had 2 single mattress savers beneath the sheet which scrunched up overnight. Should have been 1 double. However, I just removed the mattress saver on the second night. Would stay there again especially as the room had a tiny kitchen with table and chairs so you can self cater the odd meal. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

It would have been helpful if the a/c had extended into the bedroom space.The kitchen space and equipment is limited but workable. Its a shame that the table tops and the counter tops in the kitchen/diner space are all cigarette burns - which detracts heavily from the look and feel of the facility.It might be useful to know that on-site car-parking, which is chargeable, is not essential as plenty of public parking is available outside either side of the hotel gates.

Location excellent for the town and the racecourse, which I wanted. Reception very helpful and good English. WiFi a waste of time, should probably reboot the router. Hotel a strange mix, fabric is older but the facilites, such as bathroom and toilet are updated, my room had a self catering facility, odd but useful. Lifts good, room serviced nicely, a little balcony was welcome with the self catering. On my second night a party of girls were having a party until 1.00am, night porter didn't get a grip, no sleep. Hotel seemed to cater for parties of student types, I noticed two parties checking in, perhaps noise is a penalty.No bar and no restaurant, but Deauville is full of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. No air conditioning would be a problem in summer, I asked for a fan, they didn't have any, the noise from outside is OK except for the gulls which don't sleep in. I'd give it another chance.Price a little high for the comfort. Breakfast available, extra charge for continental.
