Not happy about the room. The room smells very bad. The carpet is damp. Room smells like mold. The bathroom not clean like usual. Every other time we have stayed , we have always had great experience however this time is different. The guy at the front counter took 20 mins to get us checked in . I am very disappointed.

We stay here often, really enjoy being here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Treat us great every time we. Come here.

I booked here for my son's 18th birthday bc i knew it was going to rain, and rhe indoor pool was a plus! Friends have been there before, so I knew it was perfect! Staff was amazing and the the view from the room was awesome! Wish we could've stayed longer!

While the hot tub was broken and they had no slide anymore and the Viking Kafe wasn’t open for the 3 days we were there it was clean, comfortable and the indoor pool was very nice. Staff is friendly and accommodations were clean and nice

This was my first time here. When I got here on Friday Heather the front desk girl was amazing. All the staff was amazing to be honest even the cleaning staff. It was definitely a nice getaway. Even tho it was Labor Day weekend it was still relaxing here. The view from had of the beach was just what I needed and easy access to the beach. I’ll definitely be back and recommend this place to others!!!

The staff was amazing. I had a wonderful room, clean, quite and so comfortable. Easy walking right down the stairs and your on the most beautiful, clean beach. Peaceful and relaxing.

The place is an older place. Located on the ocean. Probably a great place for family. The price was very reasonable for our stay.

Room was spacious and our pool view was amazing. Has an inside and outside pool and right on the beach, what more can you ask for? Hotel is dated just like 90% of Daytona Beach’s hotels but for the price I paid can’t beat it. Will definitely stay again

It was a nice clean room, near the pool and beach, great!

We chose this hotel because we have stayed here before and they had a water slide. We were unaware that they took it out. Also, we had a kitchenette and there were no paper towels. And there wasn't any real blankets on the beds. The top layer was as thin as a shower curtain so we froze a little.

Property is very dated. Overall had a clean & nice stay. Loved the room layout with kitchen and double queen beds.

The ocean view was really wonderful, but hitel is older and outdated. Some things were being repaired. Turnover to new managers made it a little confusing. Overall, good service and helpful staff.

The customer service at the Front Desk the lobby is 5 stars!! Charlie was amazing in helping me he went above and beyond. When booking ask for 5 star Charlie!! Lol..

This property location is prime real estate! And that is really what you are paying for!!! This place needs so much love because it has all the potential! I can only speak from what I have experience, upon arriving discovered a couple off things wrong, dirty, and defective in the room. Also a very strong odor of mold.and The sheets make you itch. The kitchen area in particular needed some extra attention as far as cleaning. I did bring this all up with the front desk but was told that they were packed and pretty much to make due with what I got. On the plus side the staff was friendly and the beach views was amazing!!!!! If you chose to stay here bring your own cleaning supplies and do a quick run through cleaning, throw away sheets and bring some air freshener.

Enjoyed the hotel and the level of professionalism displayed by the staff. I had a very young desk clerk and the experienced clerks ensured he was able to assist me in every way.

I'm giving 5 stars because I had a fantastic experience. Here are the reasons: Cleanliness: Honestly, not the cleanest exterior but the room was fantastic. Clean beds. Clean bathrooms. Balcony was perfect. Staff and Service: the front desk staff were amazing. Honestly, it was so nice to not feel intimidated going into a checkin experience. There was an issue with our Expedia booking and they were soooo cool about it and helped us out! They were friendly, chatty and down to earth. Property and conditions: I've been coming here since I was a kid and the place still looks the same. I'm now 30. HOWEVER, I find comfort in this and honestly think it's the greatest. The staff seem to really love their jobs and that makes up for everything else for me! Around the area: the location is just fantastic. The beach is perfect, safe and they are central to EVERYTHING you could want. If you book here knowing you'll meet amazing staff and have a great time at the beach and chilling in their pools or sipping drinks from the little cantina/bar area, you'll be in the right place. Just don't go in expecting an updated, $500 per night stuffy hotel and you'll have an amazing time. Would definitely go back <3

The hotel was definitely dated, but our view and access to the beach was incredible. Inside pool was great, the outdoor pool was shut down by Florida's department of health. It had a nice red sign posted on it. We were not warned of that when booking. Our last day there, we were in a hurry to leave due to plumming issues that cause our room to smell like sewage.

Desk lamp didn't work. Didn't ask to be repaired as we were only there two nights. Water took 10 minutes to get warm and longer to get hot.

From beginning to end this place was a nightmare! The reception area was disgustingly, dirty, and smelled like marijuana. We got to our room. The door looked like the door warehouse. The paint was all shipped and dirty. When we got in, we saw that the carpet was filthy, dirty and stained.the blinds were bent and falling down. In the bathroom, the mirror was rusty. There was no hot water and the taps barely worked. In general, the place was filthy and falling apart. It was disgusting.

The room was nice as well as the indoor pool and hot tub. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was nice, not amazing. It has a little age, but the amenities were good, especially for kids.

We hadn’t made the trip to Sun Viking lodge in many years , but was just as wonderful.

Area still recovering from the last hurricane. Outside pools where not open. Good news was that the heated pool inside an enclosed area was open and very nice as the temperatures were cool.
