Terrible service. The lounge had no service, no soft drinks and no food. No employee on duty

We were locked out of our rooms on 20th night when checkout was 21st.
On checkout, printer wasn't working for receipt. We left our e-mail address and were promised prompt delivery by the front desk staff member. No e-mail after a week.
On entry, receptionist took her time on her mobile phone instead of promptly and courteously attending to guests.
Only two towels were topped up on cleaning every day for five days, when we booked for three guests. Limited water bottles. Limited top-up of cutlery, cups, tea/coffee, bathroom items. Attention detail is important - it's the little things that matter.
Tried to get our US$ exchanged for Saudi Riyals several times during our stay - front desk/concierge was never able to execute this simple request.
Room faced another building - barely any sunlight. Asked for another facing the main road - no active response.

Extremely terrible stay, Hotel is very old doesn’t look like IHG. Water was leaking from washroom, poor quality towels , uncomfortable bed.

the layout and feel of the place is modern and classy. The restaurants were great and the gym is excellent. It would be nice if the lounge had been open or the spa.

من الايجابيات ان بهو الفندق جميل ووسيع وفيه كثير من الكراسي وهادئ والغرفة واسعة
وسجلنا خروج بشكل مريح الساعة 1 الظهر يمكن بدون ما يكلمنا أحد وكان دفع الماء للاستحمام قوي بشكل ممتاز
ومن الجهة الاخرى قد تتضايق في بعض الامور
مثل الاثاث قديم , المواقف قليلة لكن فيه ساحة خلف الفندق تساعد لحل الموضوع

They need to change the TV I don’t think there is and 5 stars hotel in the world still have 32” TV very old and Very Slow and only they have 10 Chanels .

Booked a no smoking suite, on entering the room their was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I complained at reception and was told it was a no smoking room but they couldn't stop guests smoking in it. I was told there were no more rooms available but was assured while I was out for dinner the smell would be removed. On return I think they had just sprayed air freshener. The furniture in the suite sitting area, bedding and towels stank of cigarettes. On another note, there was no available parking as the car park was apparently full at the hotel and I had to park down the street.

The room is dark; no day light comes in whatsoever.
The food is tasteless,the room service team is doing their best though.
The receptionists need training. I called the reception to extend my stay to one more night, next day they Called me for check out because nobody in the reception had any idea that I extended my stay!
Same thing happened when I called the reception to schedule a ride to the airport for the next day and again, next day nothing was done!
During the check out, I was never asked about my stay. The receptionist should have asked me whether I enjoyed my stay. The receptionists know nothing about hospitality.
