The property had amazing staff. My room was very nice. The bathroom could had been cleaned better. It had hair in the shower and the floor had dirt spots on it. I had my own cleaning supplies as always, so I cleaned it to my standards. I must say it was better than the last time I stayed. Overall it was nice.

The hotel is newer and very nice. Our kids loved the pool area, and there parking lot is large and there's plenty of parking. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. So why the low rating. The room pictured on Expedia for the hotel show a whirl pool tub. I paid extra for this room for that reason. I get to the room, no whirlpool rub. Also no pack and play for the baby as requested, but we'll get to that. I go downstairs and tell the lady at the front desk. I basically get the what do you want me to do about it attitude. Sir, none of our rooms have those tubs. I show her the picture on THEIR website. She says when was the site last updated. Ma'am, it's YOUR website, how should I know when you listed updated it. Well IDK, but we don't have those tubs. I asked for a manager, and somehow, none was on duty. I asked to be contacted when one was available and a manager NEVER contacted me. The pack and play was requested in advance AND acknowledged by the hotel. Front desk lady, I don't think we have those. Yes you do, ask someone else. She does, yeah we have those let me go find one. Send one up, no mattress...um kind of useless without it. I go downstairs, sorry that was our last one. So one, you're not prepared as requested, two, your staff is uneducated as to your amenities, three, someone is properly checking the items in upon return, and four, proper notice is not provided to patrons prior to their stay.

What I didn’t like room had no shampoo on the wall it was empty no fan in bathroom for exhaust no tissues in box it was empty and the shower curtain was ripped in the middle I called front desk they never fixed anything after an hour wait I called again and said don’t bother sending it was 9:40 pm and we had traveled 9 hours that day to get there and was exhausted shame on them

Rural area and little lighting, could use signage at the light to indicate turn here for Hilton Garden. At both the light and the turn for the entrance to the hotel.

The manager and personnel at the front desk were very helpful and very friendly

I love this hotel....the rooms are great...the staff always nice and professional regardless of what time you actually check in....and the restaurant/bar is fantastic....food and drink!!!! I have stayed here dozens of times over the years....thanks Hilton Garden Inn

I booked two rooms, and when I arrived only one room was booked for me. I even showed them my conformation email for both rooms. I understand the system was down, but no effort was put into place to try to help my family and my situation. I was not credited back for the room I paid for either. I had to book a separate room at a different hotel because the staff would not offer any other options.

Due to maintenance issues I did not get the room I reserved. I reserved this room two months before my stay.

I liked the suite. It was so nice. The new carpeting looks great. I had been there before several times. It had always looked great.

The staff were exceptional. Genuine services from the front desk to the breakfast staff.

Dog friendly and toddler friendly. Really helped make the stay relaxing even if it was just a one night stay.

Had a little issue with my card not being processed correctly. Both gentlemen at the counter were very patient and helpful.

Nice sized room for 4 people

We stopped in roanoke rapids on way home from new york after stopping at kings dominion in Virginia. Was able to book quickly and get a reserve a suite since it was my mom, my three kids and myself

I reserved fir night, upon arrival at 7pm, I was informed that the system is down since 8am that morning therefore they can't check me in. What a disappointment, my 75yr old mom and I have been driving for 14 hrs and they notified us until we arrived. If they couldn't figured out the issue they should notify by 2pm or 3pm so we could make other arrangement. I had to load everything back in the car and continue driving until I find another hotel that meet our needs. This situation was handle poorly and your employees were frustrated with the situation and for the lack of support from your responsible department failing to troubleshoot the issue promptly. You need you have a better plan next time a situation like this occurs.

Clean room great staff

We didn't stay We walked in to a sign stating all of the system were down and they couldn't check us in. Im veey upset with they fact that they didn't reach out to us letting us know it was a problem. We drove 5 hours for a family engagement had no place to change. Very disappointing.

I loved the size of the room and the ability to enjoy a meal and a cocktail after settling in. Nice quiet area.

The place is clean and no complaints about the staff. What got me annoyed was that there breakfast cost sher as other hotels it is included.

Night manager was but pleasant and acted as if it was a bother to check me in.

Expedia booked the wrong date & after several phone conversations with different departments I finally had to give up I expected you to offer me another date to use the room payment BUT NO so forget me please I never want to hear from you again
