The property overall is clean and acceptable but in need of maintanence. The suite we checked into, the bathroom door lock was broken so we asked for another suite given we had young kids with us. The second suite they gave us also had the same issue ( no way to keep the sliding door on bathroom shut unless someone stood there guarding the door - a major inconvenience but also safety concern with a toddler). The day we checked out, the elevators were broken and we had to carry all our luggage down from the third floor. The staff did not even acknowledge this or offer any assisstance ( just signs on elevator that it is broken!)

Room wasnt the cleanest. But the breakfast was the main problem the food wasnt stocked and there wasnt much of it. It was also messy

I gave a generous three-star rating, but I wouldn’t return for another stay. If I’m paying $200 for one night, I’d expect my room to be clean. My towels and pillowcases were stained, and toilet and the bathroom floors were visibly dirty. I chose to wear my sandals in the shower as it was also stained and dirty. I look forward to a shower after a long day of travel, so I was disappointed that, after my shower here, I did not feel clean. As for the service, the man at the front desk did a great job considering he appeared to be running the entire hotel alone. Checking in took quite a bit of time, but I don’t fault him for it as I’d imagine some additional help would have allowed him to be more efficient. He had several guests to attend to at one time. When I returned to the front desk later to ask for a few extra toiletries, he promised to send some to my room as soon as he could, and somehow, amongst everything else he was doing, he hurried down to my room to provide the extra toiletries. Surely, between the prices of the rooms and the costs cut in cleaning supplies, SpringHill Suites could afford to hire this poor man a coworker.

Check in attendant was spectacular and very welcoming upon arrival and seeing her throughout our stay. All areas were clean, room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Beds were great. Great location. Very happy with our stay.

The hotel's entrance is poorly marked, and there is only one way in. One side of the hotel has a parking lot that is not controlled by the hotel. This means I had people living in their cars show up and park outside my window. I did feel safe having car lights shining in my room starting at 11:00 pm through 2:00 am as the person got ready for bed in their pickup truck. The bed looking into the bathroom. So as I laid there I looked at the bathroom sink and mirror.

Very clean, updated, modern, and comfortable beds! Rooms were spacious and clean. Front desk girl (who was a manager) was so kind and accommodating — checked us in quickly and gave us a free bottle of water because we were all so thirsty but it was very late at night and we just needed to get to bed. Thank you!!!

We had a reservation for 6 people, yet had to ask for bedding and towels for 6 people. It didn’t take long to get bedding and towels, but I feel like I shouldn’t have to ask for them. My reservation should include ensuring that is already in the room.

Bed is nasty! Tv is dangerously loose on the wall. Lights not working. Shower broken and leaking. Staff is clueless every time I speak to him

The only negative I have on this property is I stayed for the entire week for work. They told me the room would only get cleaned once during my stay. Well turns out they never came in and cleaned my room. This is disappointing when you stay there all week they can’t even come in to clean the room.

Everything was clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, breakfast was okay. The single entrance/exit for the parking lot is kinda funky but not a big deal. We will be back!

Shower was dirty. Splatter of something on the wall (assuming vomit). Lots of interstate noise. Will not be returning.

The room itself was ok with the exception of a red-stain on the carpet by the bathroom, as well as the thinnest windows which resonated all the cars/motorcycles racing down the streets outside of the property (ALL NIGHT LONG, BTW). I've stayed at the airport in Sioux Falls & it wasn't nearly as noisy as what we experienced Saturday night. My real problems had to do with the inability of the staff to call out parents of unruly children. When we left for supper, there was quite a few 10-15 year old boys who were being obnoxiously noisy. When we returned almost 3 hours later, they were still in the lobby. Shortly thereafter, they decided that racing up and down the halls--all 4 floors of the property--was a good idea. Stomping & yelling/screaming at each other the whole time. After the third time they went storming by our room, I yelled at them to knock it off. I called the front desk and the guy that answered told me the boys' parents were sitting in the lobby & that he'd ask them to get the kids under control. It worked for about two hours, then the kids were back at it, this time with their phones & probably a speaker for as loud as it was. Seriously, where are the parents AND what's their problem?!? Why would the staff put up with it. Give the parents the boot--maybe then they'd figure out that there are societal standards they need to live by!!

Clean and quiet hotel!

They did not have the room I booked at so I was switched to courtyard next door,no room available there so was directed to residence inn,they had a room there and front desk lady was excellent,but all in all the app was saying they had rooms available but they didn't at Springfield inn and suites, that was told to me by the front desk lady there via a telephone call.quite the inconvenience!!

Room was good. The breakfast bar had rectangle shaped section of eggs that didn't look very good. Had coffee only.

Very clean and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was a little sparse, although what was there was good quality. Worth the money!

Nice and clean rooms! Staff was friendly. Only complaint was there wasn’t much food left for breakfast even though there was over an hour and a half left to go.
