Very clean hotel. Huge parking lot for trailers. Very nice lobby and rooms.

Our room smelled like somone just smoked in there. Asked for a new room but desk staff told me it was full and I could not be moved.
Disgusting that in 2024 people still smoke in hotel rooms and is permitted. By the way, I did request a non-smoking room.
We liked the Crave restaurant a lot. Only redeeming thing about our trip to Sioux City.

Sadly they were having water issues and had to shut water off before check out, they were nice and gave out bottled water to guests. Biggest complaints were the pillows and the lack of consistency in air conditioning.

Went there for my yr 50th class reunion. Room was nice, bed was decent, no room service at all (hubby had to go get fresh towels), indoor/outdoor area was nice but it was a hot day and fans were not started until I was dripping sweat down my face, food was mediocre at best. Very dissatisfied that I paid as much as I did and there was not even a modest breakfast bar, just coffee.

The CRAVE was great! The river behind the hotel was relaxing although there was no place to sit and relax by the river unless you went to the restaurant. Parts of the river walk had runoff from mud

The entrance was totally blocked causing everyone to have to walk a distance with the luggage carts. Had to park a distance first. Those that are handicapped are practically forgotten and had to go further than than should.

Still allows smoking but that might not be unusual for Iowa. Make sure you get a non-smoking room. Food options are very limited - the restaurant is very pricey - including for breakfast. So we had to get in the car and drive elsewhere for food. Beds were comfy though.

2 AM fire drill, blaring wake up, no communication, wandering in the parking lot for 15 minutes until alarms stopped and went back in only because others were going in. Was not told anything, never saw from or heard an employee tell me anything, even at checkout when I stopped at the desk and checked out personally at 5 am, could not even eat because it opened at 6 and I miss timed my needed departure. Not a good night.

We were just on a stop over while driving home from Montana and this hotel was the perfect place to get off the road and relax. Quiet. Right off of US 29. Comfortable beds. Wonderful products in the bathroom. A Kirieg for coffee!! If we travel through Iowa again we will stop here.

One night the fire alarm went off without explanation at 2am, causing evacuation. Staff laughed saying “at least we know the alarm works” as guests re-entered the building once the fire department cleared it. Another night was filled with the floor overhead having a party or something as it was consistent stomping and banging all night and through the early hours of the morning. Two out of three nights had zero quality sleep. The toilet in our room had a broken seat. The refrigerator couldn’t figure out if it was a freezer or not working - there was no in between. The location was convenient right off the freeway. But next visit, I will not be staying here.

The best ting about this hotel is the pool. The rooms are nothing special. The complimentary breakfast brunch is horrible.

Ate at the local restaurant, we decided to try sushi and was pleasantly surprised as that was the best part of entire meal. Server was attentive but the meal was very bland.
No or lack of proper supervision in the pool which made our visit very short to this area.

The rooms and shower were fine. The workout room was nice functional and the pool looked good even though we didn't use. No continental breakfast and then going to Crave for what was nothing more than a low level continental breakfast was disappointing given that the dinner hour looked like wonderful meals.

Didn't get the type of room I had reserved. did not mention that there was no breakfast available, no housekeeping, usually no one at the front desk; worst lighting in the bathroom for applying makeup, bring a flashlight. Very disappointed overall, outrides the positives. and I am a long time Hilton member......
