Easy walking distance

Don't book here if you want a good shower ! It was one of the worse ever in my life travels .

The fridge - Mold in the seal and food scraps Bedroom - Fan had dust that thick, looked like 2yrs worth. Blind rail, pictures, lights, shelves were all dusty and dirty. Bathroom tiles had hair from last booking on them. Toilet paper holder was broken so a half used roll of toilet paper was left on top of the toilet. Hair dryer had dirt and sticky residue on it. Power points didn't work. TV remote didn't work properly to the TV, had to use the controls on the TV. Air con vent was so thick with dust I left it out for you to see and clean which u finally did. Dish cloth was dirty from last booking and the dishwashing liquid packet was open and used from the last booking but not replaced.

Within easy walking distance from Argent Street shops & heritage buildings like Post Office etc. Clean & comfortable rooms.

Great spot to stay in Broken Hill! Comfortable, easy to walk to the restaurants and the staff were super helpful.

Very comfortable bed, great shower. It's in a quiet street but not far from the main.

the aircon did not work so we paid extra for a slightly better room. the motel is showing its age.

The property has not been updated for a long time. The room was hot but outside temp was not bad but no airflow in the room. They were very keen to make sure we were gone by 10AM on the dot. Won't stay there again.

Well like often the picture to the room you book online often did not represent what you end up with. the condition of the room was nice, clean and comfortable it was in the Motel section of the Lodge and not one of the rooms in the lodge itself which the picture of booking showed. It was good for one night but I will be a bit more careful in the future.

The friendly staff provided a warm welcome and the amenities met all our requirements. Conveniently located to all shops and pubs and clubs.

Lovely managers Janelle and Troy . They have just taken over management and are making lots of improvements they are friendly and willing to help with anything you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The motel is within a few minutes walking distance of the town of Broken Hill . Very good value for money

Lovely motel. Loved the old world charm. The manager and his wife went out of their way for us. Our room had everything that you could ask for and more,even a hair dryer in the lovely bathroom. Loved the four poster bed. Close to the Main St easy to walk to. Places to eat on the next block. Beautiful Clean pool.We stayed there on our Return journey, and will definitely stay there next time we are in Broken Hill

Having booked and paid ahead we arrived to no one at reception but despite phoning three times to the number on the door no answer. I went for a walk and found a guest who said he knew where the receptionist was. Three minutes later she rang me. Our keys were under the mat to the room number she provided. Office hours clearly displayed show open from 8am to 7pm. Trip Adviser reviews suggest the office is rarely opened. No manual for the room so a call to determine the wifi login and no we don't have information documented. No milk provided despite there being tea and coffee in the room. All up a lack of interest or respect for guests. Insect repellent provided for all the flying insects and mosquitos in the room. Dead bugs everywhere and the floor looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner in ages. Bathroom is a joke. If you have any size good luck getting through the door. Fan control broken so unable to use it. Basic repair item but instead of leaving a broken know get the thing replaced. Had to run air all night. Pool advertised but cover on it. See photo Laundry unavailable "out of service" see photo Cups had lipstick stain on it and other cup stained - see photos. Parking area drive had holes in it see photo. Totally ripped off. Stay at your own risk. The owner replies to negative reviews suggesting they have different accommodation for different needs. However selling something purporting to be a motel room requires honesty and integrity in advertising.

The photo of the property certainly did not represent the accommodation. It was motel like chalets, dated, cleanliness struggled to be presentable, as fixtures and fittings well past their sell by date. The owners clearly put profit before customer service.Mel, the 'manager' and Brett ' handyman'' , sadly poor lackies, were friendly and helpful, and the only redeeming feature. We felt sorry for her, as she must be bombarded with complaints. Brett, a,quiet soul was somewhat anxious about a request to repair a gap in the mosquito net. Realising we weren't going to complain , he was very helpful and friendly. Would never wish to stay there again.

The people in the neighbouring room were noisy and had a dog with them that barked occasionally.

Rooms with a Queen size bed were carved out of what appeared to be the former garage. Room was not much bigger than the bed. Walls are paper thin, bathroom door is a sliding barn door - no privacy. Place is noisy, bathroom is not too small, needs upgrades and improved safety and aeration updates. Office iis seldom staffed and specific requests were ignored. Not worth any price you might be able to get.

Looks a bit rundown outside but a very pleasant surprise when I walked into my room. Very comfortable, close to shops and quiet.

Don’t be fooled by the photos of a beautiful Federation house. Most of the accommodation is in run down motel units. Bathrooms too small to be comfortably used. Unsure how long it was since the room had been thoroughly cleaned. Every ledge had a thick layer of dust. Guest laundry “out of order”, and from the yellowing sign, it probably has been for years. Had an unwanted surprise between the pillows on my bed, a squashed, dead cricket. Booked for three nights, but only stayed two and only then because we had tours booked in the local area. Upped and left on the second morning without even bothering to seek a refund. Will never be back.

A lovely grand house conversion to a motel. Friendly staff and really enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful stay. Well located. Friendly and happy staff. The room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Room 2 was very clean, with a comfortable bed. Couldn’t use the microwave because the shelf was at an angle and contents slid towards the door. Staff said that it had been noted before but nothing had been done as yet. It would be better to have the TV on this shelf rather than the top of the wardrobe & put the microwave on the bench below.
