It was all good. I was traveling alone, so it was important that I had a place to leave my car and a shuttle-on time-to take me to the airport and pick me up when I returned, and that everything was clean and safe. Everything went smooth and easy, and everyone was friendly and kind. THANK YOU-I am HARD to please-but this time, I am!! Dorinda DeReese

This is the worst Marriot I’ve ever stayed in. Roaches, stains on pillows and sheets, extremely out dated and even broken amenities. This place is the pits.
On top of all that, the cops come and park a police car in front of the hotel each night and leave it there to give a perception that there is police presence. I’m not sure how this hotel has such a high rating, but I’d recommend staying a way. Keep in mind, the prison is less than a mile away.

We were more than pleasantly surprised at everything about this hotel. First and foremost, the staff was beyond nice and so very friendly and helpful! AC was nice and cold, room was large and very comfortable. Shuttle to the airport was ready and on time.

I like the front desk staff and housekeeping person Liza. The entry way and carpet could use cleaning but otherwise ok. The hotel was inconvenient to get around and fulfill my purpose for being in the city. Also if you get there late due to flight delays difficult to find food and the frozen food for purchase packaging did not look appetizing .

Location near the airport was great. There are lots of food options in walking distance. Unfortunately, my room needed some extra cleaning. The walls, doors and counters were sticky. The refrigerator didn't work. There wasn't any extra linen in the room for the sofabed.

The property was very nice & quiet. Staff was friendly. Rooms were okay. I did not like the bed and the bathroom. The bed linens were not clean…they looked dingy. And the toilet seat was loose and shaky. The room was smaller than I expected for the price. But overall, it was a nice place to stay. I rate it a 7⭐️

I was not impressed by the care of the room at all. No attention to detail. There were areas of the room that were not cleaned properly and the bed was uncomfortable and extremely lumpy. I think for the price the room could have been better.

We came to see my daughter at college. It was me, my husband and kids. Well on the site it said 2 queen beds and sofa. They ARE NOT QUEEN BEDS they were double beds ..maybe. Those beds were so small my husband is tall. We could not fit in the bed together at all. One of us had to sleep on the couch! Not what I paid for and extremely upset. I didn’t not argue with them since it was only one night but was very upset. And my sister was across the hall and had a roach in her room!! I will just need to love to another hotel next time I come see my daughter in college.

Great hotel right down the street from Southern University. I only gave it an overall 4 stars because of how loud it was at night. Guest were literally screaming and I heard yelling outside and cops pulled up. Besides that everything was great. Very clean.

Every one working was so very nice and helpful. But, the full breakfast was not up to par like other Marriott with hot food waffles grits like the Hilton across the street.

The floors needed attention. The inside of the toilet bowl needed attention. The tub had hair around the edges awful. The brothers room had so much cat or dog hair on the sofa you couldn’t sit on it. The breakfast has really gone downhill over the years. Trust me we will NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN. Just an awful experience
