The hotel and staff were extremely helpful and glad to provide what you need to be comfortable. It's important to note that if you plan to visit or need anything from Cebu City, you will need to pay for a taxi as the hotel is away from the attractions.

I had 3 days at the resort and absolutely loved every minute. It is a small resort. But It was very relaxing, quiet, I loved the spa. The staff were extra helpful and the food was great. I was in a pool side room, which I think was the older building, however, the room felt upgraded and new. I wished the pools and beach were a bit larger. However, I enjoyed myself so much I will be coming back on my next trip.

This hotel is great value for the price. You can of course spend a lot more for a hotel room in Mactan. However the staff at Costabella are super friendly and cater for your every need. You won't find better staff in alternative more expensive hotels. We would particularly like to mention Kenneth, Joshua & Rhoden at Marina who gave us exceptional service. Other positives. Private beach so no hawkers trying to sell you stuff. Calm waters to swim in at high tide. 2 large swimming pools to use at low tide! Reception moved us when we were unhappy with original room. Thanks! Nurse at clinic very helpful with our health concerns. All in all, a beautiful, quiet, family owned resort. We returned home relaxed and happy!

It’s one of the beach resorts that I’ve been to. Will come back for sure!

The resort is in a poor part of Cebu. Therefore, convenience and food options are scarce unless you want to risk quality of food and drink. Transportation is also limited only taxis available to you. The main part of Cebu is 30 to 45 minutes away from the resort, which we knew was not a problem for us. Staff was not very attentive during dining as they often did not pick up on normal use such as as greeting you and providing you menu and checking in on you periodically as you might expect. Might be a cultural difference. The resort offers assistance in booking excursions by way of local businesses and day drivers via taxi. Very affordable and convenient options. Breakfast buffet is amazing. All meals were delicious and drinks were well done.

I'll start with the good things first . The staff is very good and extremely friendly. The outdoor areas are very nice. The breakfast buffet is good. The dinner menu is average at best.Rooms very outdated. Cleaning not existing. They "make" your bed, but no changing of the bedsheets for the whole duration of our stay. Also be aware if "resort fee" they will add 9 or 10% of the purchased amount to the bill

The staff was exceptional in every way. They treated us great all the time. The food was excellent. The room was very good too. I would go back for sure.

Ambiance, beach access. Spacious room & bathroom, the cabinet smells old wood. The mirror too high cannot see face while sitting. The food is very good. Staff very friendly quick knowledgeable.

Loved that the beach was easily accessible. My room was clean, spacious and offered a beautiful view of the beach, sunrise/sunset from my balcony. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable of the area and very responsive. I booked a massage, facial and body scrub onsite at the spa. I highly recommend Apple! Everything was perfect! I left feeling like I stepped out heaven.

This place is beautiful, but what I really enjoy the staff at this hotel! Friendly, accommodating, and professional! This has been my second stay here, and I will always return to this property every time I visit Cebu.

Nice resort for the price. The breakfast buffet was excellent, 900 Pesos. Free bicycles rentals for 1 hour to ride over to local market street. So many restaurant waiters to serve you.

The dinner service was very disappointing. Ordered fresh sushimi however ended with defrosted tuna. The seafood platter was also disappointing. The furnishings however were astonishingly beautiful.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The hotel , staff and resort area was charming and the feel was elegant throughout the grounds. The cost was actually very reasonable. The activities are also very reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend anyone to visit.

Excellent hotel/resort! Top quality service from the moment you arrive in a secure and private compound. From the valet to the front desk attendant, the high details were checked and expectations surpassed. Service is great and the resort beautiful and fun. Minor drawbacks, only one key available to each room, food & drink service was slow.
