Compared to similar options in Sitka, Eagle Bay Inn is a great value. Simple, Quiet, Clean and a nice selection of basic breakfast/snack foods available 24/7. Transportation options in Sitka (generally) are mediocre at best. From this location you can walk to downtown Sitka in 20-25 minutes. There are a few restaurant/food options close to the property.

We were a bit hesitant about staying at eagle bay inn when we saw the entrance BUT we couldn’t have been more surprised and pleased. Don’t let the entrance deter your stay. This place is homey, clean, and the staff is top notch!! They offer an airport shuttle service which we really appreciated. You will enjoy your stay. Also there is a Mexican/ pizza restaurant a few doors down that serves great food. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

My stay at Eagles inn was bref but plesent. Rooms where clean and spacious. Beds where comfortable. Got a little hot while i was there.. would have opened the window but there was a loud delivery truck near my window. No wifi. Over all, my stay was good. Near a good restaurant, pizza express.

By far one of the quaintess places we have ever stayed. Vickie the energetic manager and her staff were phenomenal. They did every little thing to continue to surprise us with their congeniality. Every room had a different Alaskan theme. The bathroom linens even coordinated withe the unique bed linens... best bath mat i have ever stepped onto in hotel/motel. Breakfast offerings while not prepared were plentiful.

We liked the shuttle and the breakfast bar was a nice surprise, with bagels,cream cheese and even orange juice!

The staff is extremely hospitable and works diligently to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy your time in Sirka.

We stayed at the Eagle Bay Hotel after a late arrival on the last flight into Sitka. The hotel staff waited up for us and provided a smooth check in process. We had the suite room, ideal for our family of five. The next morning, we meet the Innkeeper at breakfast - she was engaging and knowledgeable about the area, and the pride that she took in running the hotel was apparent

The entire staff at Eagle Bay Inn was amazing! We were given upgrades, picked up and carried to places we needed. The hospitality was over the top! We will be back.

Breakfast was very convenient. Hotel shuttle to town was very helpul as we did not have a car. Staff helped me get distilled water for cpap and were helpful with suggestions.

Staff was super accommodating! From picking us up early from the airport to letting us check in early and taking us to a fishing harbor with no advance notice. The only downfall was the Olympics happened to be on and there was no local stations to watch the events, only streaming. Overall great place though!

Staff were all extremely helpful and gracious, breakfast food and sitting area were great. The only issue that we had (as well as at least two other parties) was getting into the property to check in with no WiFi or cell service. You need to call a number to get into the building and aren’t able to without a working phone connection. In anticipation of a potential issue checking in, I called multiple times during the day prior to check in, however the number listed on the website and with the reservation is not regularly monitored, so no one answered. Other than this issue, the stay was very pleasant, the room clean, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The people are professional and incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond any expectation I had!

The room was quite spacious. The staff and the owner were absolutely delightful. They made our stay an experience in itself. Did I mention the view? Well, it was to die for.

It was a very clean and comfortable room. The linens were washed with a very strong ‘fresh’ detergent and/or softener-it was so strong I couldn’t sleep. I would request no scent on the linens and towels.

Enjoyed the hospitality and welcome of the staff. Comfortable stay. Perfect for our needs. Thanks.

This property is a wee bit out of main town, but it makes up for it in it's cleanliness and friendly people. 15 minute walk through a gorgeous forest will take you into the heart of town. The room is spacious, the people who work there will go out of their way to make you feel extra special. We enjoyed our two night stay there immensely and would not hesitate to book again if we were travelling to Sitka, AK. Thank you, all for a wonderful stay!!

I arrived late due to being bumped on a flight. I was concerned because I was arriving so late, and the hotel website showed they answer calls in the morning. However, the hotel had a number posted on the door, so when I called the posted number upon arrival, a gentleman answered and within two minutes, someone showed up to check me in. The hotel is safe and locked at all times. The eagles across the street at the bay were wonderful. We greatly appreciated the snacks and drinks in the lobby. When I return, I will be staying here again.

The staff were above amazing. Ron and Vicky are at the top of their game. The place and the people made for a wonderful stay.

Eagle Bay Inn lives up to its high reviews and was perfect for us for the 2 nights we were in town before leaving on a cruise. They offer airport pickup and willing shuttles to and from town (which it is just outside of). The front desk is warm and friendly; check in was easy; the room was very quiet and comfortable; there's coffee and snacks available at all times. There's a local brewery/pizza place and a coffee hut within walking distance, both of which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend the Inn!

This is a really well maintained property with a fantastic staff!

We enjoyed this unique property in Sitka. Across the street is Eagle Bay where we saw at least 30 bald eagles over our two day stay. Breakfast pastries are available all day along with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, and other beverages. The inn sits in a small shopping plaza that has a good restaurant. The property is located within walking distance of a beautiful park and downtown Sitka itself.

Great choice! Homey, roomy and well situated.
