Neither stairwell was open due to construction - disquieting. Vending machine had old products. Room itself was good.

Property was clean. The gentleman at the front desk was not very friendly and was hard to understand. Not much offered for breakfast so we did not eat there. Was a good choice for one night.

The original room smelled and there maggots on the door where the refrigerator was supposed to be and it was stuffed with garbage! We went down to the front desk to tell what happened but the peopl seemed not really care but gave us another room

The staff was never around when you needed them. The building wreaked of Marijuana inside & out. It smelled like someone was smoking weed on the 2nd floor. I went to the front desk to complain and i couldn't find a staff member. The cable kept going out on the tv & no one at the front desk would answer the phone when i called to complain about it.

Stayed over night on the way to Florida. It Was a decent experience. Good location. Room was on the modern spectrum in terms of decor/fixtures. Decently clean. Free quick breakfast. Good experience for a nights rest.

The hotel was fine and the service was, too. The breakfast was terrible! No toppings for waffles. Yogurt some days and not some days. One piece of fruit in the fruit basket. No hot water for tea or grits. Very poor.

Check in was easy enough. Lobby looked and smelled clean. Room was clean and comfortable. No issues, no complaints with the room, the property or the staff. Great value for the area and I would stay there again as needed.

What I didn't like about this property were several things. I didn't like the fact that our room would be cleaned every other day. Now if we wanted it done I believe we could request it so. But why? Breakfast to me was unappealing. The manager would not show any compassion towards me on refunding 1 day that I had paid for through expedia. I had no ue that we would leave early, but my wife finished up her medical procedures at UAB early. All about the almighty dollar. To me...this place is a classic example of putting lipstick on a pig!!! Holiday Inn Express is about a mile drive away and much better...AND they have a manager that is sympathetic abd compassionate to people's needs when they are having to deal with illness and disease. I will never return to this place...EVER!

The water pressure was so hard. We had to take quick showers because the water was filling up in the tub so quickly. Our mirror was completely cracked at the bottom. We really didn’t fussed about it because we were there for only one night. But we did let the manager know because the deposit was 50.00 if we broke something. He said they already knew about it.

Even though the room was clean the bathroom was terrible. My daughter went to the desk and asked for cleaning supplies so my grandchildren could use the bathroom. People are not very friendly. This was a stop over going to Florida

This was the second night I stayed with my family of 4 grand children. Even though the room was in better shape than the first stay. The people at the front desk were not very friendly. This was my first time in Alabama and they didnot seem receptive to answer any question. Maybe they were upset about my comments about cleaning the room on day1. I think next time I will choose another location.
