Can’t say enough! Staff was great and location was amazing!!

This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Cedar Point. Super close and you can’t beat the early entry perk! Take advantage of that!! My only complaint is when we called down for coffee or extra blankets it took forever and one time we never even received the coffee. Not a huge deal just a bit annoying. Would still stay here again if we get take another trip to Cedar Point.

Fantastic property! We loved our stay as a family of 5 with 3 teenage/adult children. Loved the outdoor area, cute lobby with gift shop and the free water bottle filling station was really handy. Front desk staff were very friendly and check in was easy. Easy access & safe parking lot. SO CONVENIENT to Cedar Point! Everything was very clean. Room was clean, bathroom was large. A great stay ~ we would definitely book again!

Staff were friendly and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. Great value and a five minute ride to the park.

It was the the second time i came here in a week very nice the best experience I've had in a long time it's expensive but it is a resort style atmosphere right at cedar point the pool and splash pad was awesome my 6 year old son loved it and so did the rest of us would definitely go again

The room had ants. On the dresser, on my bed. Couldn’t leave any food or drink out because they would take it over. It was awful

The pool

Kinda got lost looking for the hotel but the hotel itself was great! Loved the pool!

Room seemed clean enough when we first arrived but quickly realized it hadn’t had a thorough cleaning plenty of crumbs and even one of those toothpick/flosser things under the table. A few ants in the bathroom. The pool had lots of dead bugs in it. First day we saw workers cleaning the pool before it opened, few dead bugs nothing crazy. Next day after a rainstorm the pool was not cleaned, thought maybe we just didn’t see them clean but once we went down to the pool, literally the whole pool was filled with dead bugs floating around. This was an hour after pool hours started and with a staff member just sitting in the little hut appearing to be doing absolutely nothing. The other annoying thing but less of a big deal was that the vending area by our room only had an ice machine that did not work. The other vending area on our floor had working ice machine and snack machine but no drinks. We had to find a vending area on another floor to grab a drink. Overall very disappointing for the price especially being a Cedar Point hotel.

Beware rooms are damp and have an odor. Lighting in bathroom is 2 dim light bulbs making it horrible. There is one inch square soap bar for shower and sink use. Very cheaply supplied. I would not stay again.

We absolutely love this property. It’s got the best of everything at an unbeatable price when compared to other options. Service is above and beyond. The only thing we encountered was housekeeping staffing is short so they weren’t able to clean the room daily, but it was still an outstanding stay.

This was a traumatic experience for my family. On the first night in the hotel my daughter woke me up crying in the middle of the night saying there were bugs in her bed. I checked and found 3or 4 ants. I assured her it was ok I got them all and she should go back to sleep. She ended up sleeping with me. The second night same thing. Middle of the night ants on the floor in the bathroom dad. Again 4-5. Killed them and went back to bed. The 3rd night was the bad one. Woke up and there were ants everywhere!!!!!!!!! My bed her bed our clothes our bags the bathroom. I’m not talking 4-5 ants either I’m talking thousands and thousands of ants. I work in a lumber mill and this was worse then anything I’ve ever seen. I could not for the life of me figure out what was attracting them because we didn’t bring food into the hotel. So after I wake up to my daughter literally covered in ants I look around and find the remnants of someone’s grapes. Which means after 3 days of “cleaning” our room there was still the guest before us’s food garbage on the floor. I changed hotels for the remainder of my stay in Sandusky. I called the hotel and someone was supposed to have called me back. Been 2 days and haven’t heard nothing. I feel like a terrible dad for putting my children through this. Please Learn a lesson from me. The early access just isn’t worth the trauma this has caused my child.

It's not luxury but it's nice, clean, friendly, affordable and close to the park and to town. I would definitely stay here and again and recommend it to anyone that wants to do Cedar Point and not spend a ton of money.

It was clean, and everyone was so nice.

I cannot think of one reason to stay here other than to be going to Cedar Point. Location gets an A+. Early entry is a nice perk. Property gets a C for cleanliness. Our room was DAMP. Beds felt damp when you got in them. Bathings suits from swimming on our first night there were still wet the day we left, 3 days later, even though we had them laid out. Our bathroom smelled like a dirty rag was used to clean it. Vents and lights had very thick dust on them. Not impressed.

This hotel was great! The staff was friendly and the location was convenient for going to cedar point every day we were there. The hotel was clean and the room service was great. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

Friendly staff, easy check in, comfortable beds. Would recommend staying here when visiting any of the Sandusky attractions; there is no continental breakfast, but Castaway Bay is directly across from the express hotel, and Castaway Bay has a Buffet breakfast for a price.
