The after hours checking in information and procedure worked well.

Paying a little more than last time resulted in a better larger room. Convenient to ferry. Could see ferry movements from the window - interesting.

Very quiet, clean and only a couple of minutes away from the Spirit of Tasmania. Appreciated the continental breakfast pack for an early morning start.

The proximity to the Spirit of Tas wharf is ideal for late arrivals and early departures. The staff are polite and very helpful. The building is a little dated but it was quite adequate for the purpose.

Stayed here to catch early morning ferry. Needed to be nearby as we had to leave our hire car at the airport (phone the local taxi company number in the room guest book to travel the short distance back from the airport - there is no taxi rank or even taxi number out there).
Easy 15min walk to terminal, though signage not great for foot passengers. We had a nice room facing out to water, well equipped and clean. On a Sunday night hotel bar and cafe closed and not much nearby if you have no car to go out to eat. Useful shop on corner to ‘self cater’. Hotel worked well for us and we’d definitely stay again.

The stay was great. Check-in was after hours and quite late, still it went smooth & easy. The room was clean with all the amenieties. There was hardly any disturbance; it was quiet. The location was perfect to drop the car hire & get on the Spirit of Tasmania. Highly recommended.

When we turned on the air con unit the smell coming from the unit was terrible. The smell was like animal urine. We had it on for 3 minutes and the smell was horrific. We had to vent the room which made it cold. Consequently we left one day early and obviously lost our money. Would not recommend this motel.

The Edgewater is a fine establishment which provides value for money. I enjoyed my short stay there.

Near spirit tasmania could wave to the boat as it went past,really nice walks alongshore No chair or microwave or toaster in rooms If you just want a big bed to sleep in this is where you go. parking right at the door Staff friendly

Looked nothing like the nice pictures online no heating air conditioner was blowing cold air was freezing all night need to change the bathroom door so no glass as my partner was up n down to the bathroom and everytime he turned on the light it lit up the bedroom and woke me up and the restaurant , pub and gaming closed at 4pm seriously WHY i only booked cause i could eat n drink their
