From check in to check out the service was brilliant.
All staff were friendly and attentive.

What a beautiful Inn - a truly British style stay. The staff were amazing, the breakfast absolutely delicious and the ambiance was exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous place - right off the main transport links.
I was travelling from Devon to Derbyshire so this is a great mid-way stopover
This was the 3rd time staying.
Food is amazing - good menu without being massive and overwhelming.
I had to leave at the time brekkie started so the staff offered with a takeaway brekkie or pre-order so it was ready on the dot if 7am and I could just eat and leave quickly.

Amazing staff, lovely place, slightly annoying with the creaky floorboards when there is someone in the room above but it’s old and cannot expect anything different but that would be my only minor gripe

Really nice Country Inn located in a lovely part of England. Very welcoming, clean and decent sized room. Great menu for dining options and excellent breakfast in the morning. Service in bar and restaurant very good too.

Very clean and comfortable with generally very generous food portions of a good standard but some shortcomings at breakfast eg toast but no jam or marmalade offered, only 1cup of coffee offered , butter portion small .

Lovely room, comfortable bed, should look at refillable toiletries instead of single usage plastic! Would have been nice to have cereals and juice out to help ourselves at breakfast.

I just love this place. From the moment you walk through the door you feel at home. We like to stay in the Shakespeare suite which is beautiful and supremely comfortable. I always have the best nights sleep. The food in the restaurant is fabulous- I won’t eat risotto anywhere else. We usually stay for a night on our way back from visiting family in Dorset but I think next year we will come for longer. Thanks as always to all the staff.

We had a superb one night stay in the Shakespeare Suite which was in the roof area. Lots of exposed beams but all spotlessly clean with a really comfy bed and quality furniture which all matched. Our evening meal was excellent with the staff very attentive and not afraid to stop for a chat. Breakfast was great too, you chose what you wanted and it was all freshly cooked. We genuinely cannot fault any aspect of our overnight stay, it was excellent from start to finish - staff who are very helpful and friendly and with a lovely restaurant.

was comfortable and clean and all the staff were helpful and pleasant.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent. It is handy for Stratford on Avon and nearby Alcester.

Wonderfully charming hotel full of character. We stayed in the Shakespeare suite which was lovely. Excellent and friendly service, great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Second time staying here,we chose the cottages at the back,as we stayed in them last time. Home from home,everything you need and very clean. Meals in the pub superb and all staff attentive. We will be back next year!

Really good place and looks to have had a recent refurbishment. Staff really friendly and easy to deal with. Food was really good apart from the steak I had which was like rubber along with thick lumpy sauce

We enjoyed our stay. Nice room, up in the roof and up quite a lot of steep stairs, but comfortable. Bath and shower a bit awkward to use. Good breakfast.
