Fantastic location, great place to stay, quiet and brilliant views in the morning. Looked after extremely well and lovely hosts. Full English breakfast was great as was all the breakfasts. Accommodation very clean. No issues with staying there again.

The house is in a lovely setting with wonderful views. Good Breakfast included with plenty of choice and cooked to order.

She then told us where we could go to have dinner. Next morning, a beautiful, frosty day we had a lovely breakfast overlooking the glittering hills and misty valleys, which was a brilliant start to the day.

Excellent hosts, helped with suggestions for trips etc.Very comfortable accommodation only fault was in the water pressure for the shower but wouldn’t put me revisiting in the future.

Enjoyable 1 night stay. Good quality room and very nice breakfast. Complimentary glass of wine on arrival, local information provided by host such as best places for evening meal etc and good view of countryside from room. Would stay again.

Our room was very small. The hand basin was set into the dressing table with the tv next to it. The basket with teabags, cups etc was under the sink, along with the kettle. There were no power points above waist height so the kettle had to be plugged in on the floor beside the bed. The 'ensuite' was a toilet with a facing shower. Having said that, our hosts David and Carrie were exceptional, the b+b was very clean and tastefully decorated. They even provided complementary wine and nibbles on an evening in the lounge. David advised us of a walk around Tarn Hows which was delightful. The breakfasts were cooked to order ( ordered the day before), this was explained as the breakfasts would be fresh, but we thought it was to save on waste. The house is set in delightful countryside, a short drive from Ambleside, with stunning views. We thought it was overpriced, based purely on the size of our room. If we had been on '4 in a bed' we would have offered £80 a night, not the £103.50 we paid.

One of the loveliest B&B's. We stayed for one night, the host was friendly and very informative along with his partner. We took all their recomendations and thoruhgly enough our stay. Thank you, we hope to visit again soon!

Lovely welcome from our host, the room was extremely nice and we were given lots of helpful advice on where to go in order to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Will definitely be revisiting and we highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Loved this B&B, beautiful view from the room. Loved the welcome glass of wine on arrival and David was very helpful & friendly. About a 5-10 minute drive into town, would recommend.
