This is an amazing hotel. It is quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed our time here.

Very Limited Breakfast, Rooms are small and beds that mentioned as queen are actually twin.

The pool and pool side restaurant was like an oasis from the hustle and grit of San Jose. The food at the restaurant was incredible and well priced. Highly recommend ordering lunch or dinner by the pool. Our room was simple but clean. Comfy pillows! The area feels safe to walk around during the day. The staff were all wonderful. A lovely boutique hotel! Special thanks to the staff for accommodating our early arrival.

Room was a little run down

The hotel has great amenities and is in a relative accessible area. The room was extremely basic and poorly furnished. With a little effort this hotel has great potential. The pool and gym were great though.

Nice place

I couldnt ask for a better boutique hotel. If i was to add anything it would be an in hour Spa.

We arrived at our room late evening & when we went to bed one side of the bed was sagging. Next morning we told desk staff & gave permission for them to enter the room while we were out. When we returned at 4pm nothing had been done. At 5 they came to examine bed & discovered one side of bed was busted. When they removed the mattress pad there was a huge stain on it. Bed & mattress were replaced. We spoke to manager & asked for a refund for one night as we thought this was a fair request. He informed us he had to speak to his supervisor. Came back & offered to move us to another room. As we only had another two nights we said seeing that the bed had been replaced we’d just stay but would like a refund. This was refused & we were offer a cocktail & a free lunch buffet. Not sure why they refused a refund. We could see that the manager had to do what his supervisor had told him. The staff were very friendly & helpful but the fact that the bed was broken & the mattress stained really put a damper on our stay. Restaurant & pool we’re very clean & well maintained

This hotel was fine. The food was decent. The bed was comfortable. I was disappointed because this was nearly double the price of the other hotels I stayed in during my visit, but it was the lowest quality.

Excelent location

Not so great stay with an AC unit that didn't work (and that the hotel didn't fix), uncomfortable beds, and bathrooms that smelled of sewage.

No deep cleaning

The heated pool was excellent, and next to the bar and restaurant. Very relaxing atmosphere within the hotel. Excellent jump-off point for exploring San Jose. Uber rides were plentiful. Parking on-site was a bonus as there is very little parking in San Jose.

I had requested an upgraded room prior to arrival and was not impressed with the manageress attitude when i sought clarity on a few points on payment. I upgraded to an apartment for 4 people. The apartment was set up for 2 people and when we asked for glasses cups bottled water for 4 people we were told that water was complimentary and thats all we were getting. I went directly to the restuarant and acquired 2 extra glasses from staff. We were also told pool had heated water but this was not the case. Reception Staff not very helpful or accomodating. Very disappointed as this was our last night in Costa rica with my daughter and her partner who were continuing with their travels around Central.

there is no vent in the bathroom. :(

Dirty.

The outside of the building is nice but the inside was something I didn’t imagine at all! It’s gorgeous! Rooms are big, bathroom is average size to America. The breakfast was delicious! and it was all free as much as you wanted! Juice was made fresh each time! I will definitely stay again, again and again!!

This place was clean, with friendly staff, comfy beds and a nice pool.

Great place for the price -- pool, gym, quiet yet convenient neighborhood.

We stay here every time we visit San JOse. It is a very nice hotel, convenient, comfortable and a great value.

Excellent hotel except that the pool was hot, not warm but hot!
