We had a great stay the night before flying home. The room was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good too. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Free shuttle to airport at 5.40 was greatly appreciated.

Comfortable beds. Nice hot pool/ swimming pool. It was nice to be outside and able to see part of the volcano eruptions. But far enough away of any danger.

Very nice hotel - we stayed our last night in Iceland. Convenient and near the airport. We didn't use any amenities -however the hotel was very nice and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

hotel near the airport, but you need to take a taxi there , and it cost 4500isk aprox the shuttle is just to the airport not both ways.

We had a brief stay at The Berg Hotel prior to flying out early the next morning. It was clean, comfortable, and the complimentary shuttle was much appreciated before 6 AM. We didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoor hot pool, but it did look lovely.

Hotel Berg was excellent. They communicated well, made us advance dinner reservations and allowed us a late checkout (for a reasonable fee). We loved walking in the area around the property and enjoyed the view from the small soaking pool. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food was excellent. There is also a great pizza place just down the road. Love the availability of bar drinks and coffe drinks. Our room was spacious and clean. It was nice to have robes for the pool. We also loved the availability for the ride back to the airport. We would most definitely stay there again.

Stayed here on our outbound travel leg. Very convenient to the airport and they have a shuttle if needed. The loft suites involve some stairs so make sure you’re capable before booking. Nice views of the harbor

Lovely location, very nice common areas and room was nice...looked out over the small harbor. Staff was pleasant and helpful... including our 5am shuttle to the airport! Easy walk to town. Wish we had eaten at the hotel restaurant which looked over the harbor. Really enjoyed the second floor outdoor hot pool.

Location was convenient and check in was easy. Our main problem was the noise. We just so happened to Stay during the annual lights festival which was literally right outside our window. The fireworks went off directly beside our building and nearly gave me a heart attack. It was my own fault for not doing the research of this event but at the same time I think it should have been a disclaimer upon booking. I would not have booked here knowing this. We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep before our early morning flight

I absolutely love to stay in Hotel Berg. Restaurant offers amazing food, pool on rooftop is fun and relaxing and the night are quiet and simple.

We enjoyed that it was small and very classy. If you don’t mind being 45 mins from Reykjavik, you’ll enjoy the small and quaint town with easy access to airport.

We stayed here in order to catch an early flight from Keflavik, so were not expecting much, but it was a wonderful experience. Our room was small, but elegantly designed, with seating, an in-room espresso maker (also a tea kettle), and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant gave us an outstanding dinner (try the roast ling! And the lamb ceviche!) We didn't have time to try the thermal swimming pool, but it sounds great! We are likely to stay here again.

My stay here was a treat after a week of wilderness adventures. Really nice property with a heated rooftop plunge pool, a five-minute drive from KEF airport. Great restaurant and breakfast buffet, but the latter isn't included and neither are cheap. They also charge for even a one-hour late checkout. Not the most budget-friendly option but a lovely stay.

This is a gorgeous one off building near Keflavik Airport. Everything is designed, some of dwgs framed and hung on wall. Staff are very nice and helpful and there is a lovely clifftop walk from the hotel.
Nice bar with Icelandic beers and good restaurant.
Hope to go back.

Our stay in august 2024 at hotel Berg was faultless. Easy walking into keflavik. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the airport where we caught a bus into Reykjanesbaer. Bus drivers were not that helpful when questioned on bus stops in Keflavik. The stop we got off was at the back of KFC. The pool and night meal were both worth having. Yes Iceland is expensive.

Not too far from the airport so a quick taxi ride away or if you prefer to walk it’s doable. Absolutely stunning views from the property and the hotel restaurant is phenomenal (that means a lot I never eat at the hotel because they always seem mediocre). Very friendly staff that answer all questions and are happy to assist
