We stayed in Apartment 3. The room was clean and spacious, but could do with some ventilation. There are windows and doors but during the night it was not feasible to have them open as insects would enter the apartment. But there are no other ventilation in the room and despite using the two fans provided, it was still quite stuffy in the room

The apartment was perfect for a family of 5, everything we needed. Location was great, bed was comfortable, shower was excellent! Close to town, beach, supermarket, Waitangi, and easy to get away up north from this side of Paihia. Ideal base for a few days.

My son and I had a lovely little break at Bay of Islands Holiday Apartments. Pleasing décor and really comfy bed. Has everything you need to cook and even clean if you make a mess. Actually really impressed with the cooking equipment. A decent frying pan! Wow! Good precautions given the Covid situations. Lovely friendly staff.I forgot to say something when we checked out but there was broken glassware and the kettle had a melted cord, which was concerning. I'm sure they would have fixed if I had said something. Something to note is that if you have someone next to you in the other apartment, the noise transfer is pretty high or maybe they were loud talkers/stompers. Luckily for us we only had that 1 night out of the 5 we stayed. I'm sure they loved it when we got up at 5am for a fishing trip. We are considerate and tried to be quiet but I didn't like the feeling of tip toeing around. Anyway not a huge issue but if you are looking for a couple seclusion, perhaps think again. I know you can't control the trees, which by the way makes for a lovely setting, although you do get a little noise from the road. My car was covered in sap droplets which took 3 carwashes to remove. Again not a biggie but may save someone from getting overly annoyed if they know this. IT COMES OFF.All round I would gladly stay here again. My son loved it! Bath is a nice touch for kids and even Adults to have an indulgent evening.Overall a really comfy place to stay. Awesome Bed!!!

Very spacious apartment in lovely surroundings. The staff were friendly at check-in / check-out but otherwise left me to do my own thing which was appreciated. Awesome that I could bring my dog with me. Perhaps not as quiet as I had hoped for, with NZs largest inflatable slide right over the fence, but otherwise a great place to stay!

Very clean and spacious apartment, the bed was very comfortable. The owner was quite informative especially about the parking in Paihia. The holiday park is very quiet at night, however some traffic noise in the day but it does quieten down in the evening.

We arrived,Jan the manager very nice and accommodating…...however we went through 3 fans to find one working, as when we arrived it was very hot. however she did bring one, not good looking but effective. Then the toilet seat came off, seems like the place is run on a shoestring budget, but I must stress very clean dont look under the beds. Next day we wanted to do laundry, machine not working. However, left a note and Jan again offered to put coins in the pay machines where the campers do their laundry...very nice but we had a rest day and that was the day before. This place is shared with a campsite and next door to a kiddie activity park. TG not up and running the days we were visiting. its on the high end of value. But we did enjoy a rest day with good rest and reading. its quiet. Jan swears there are no mosquitos in NZ not true. they leave the doors open, we chose not to.

We stayed in aparment #2, 2 storey unit with 3 beds. The unit was clean, homey and had all the equipment to make us feel comfortable and relaxing.No complaints with cleanliness or quality of props either. Id come back again.

You couldn't ask for more! We loved the open bedrm/ living area with everything you'd need to make the stay really special. Great bathroom with a soaking tub, wonderful deck surrounded by trees and the bed was excellent! Loved all the extra touches and it was close to everything! Thanks!

Very nice apartment. Perfect for our stay. Paihia is lovely and the trip to ‘90 mile’ beach with dune surfing was sublime.

There was even a hot tub just across the path that we could use, although the temperature could not be altered from 40 degrees. But this wasn't a problem. Location was just outside the main area of town which made for a quieter stay, but that was great for us.

Warmly welcomed. The Apartment has everything you could think of. Particularly impressed with the BBQ and that it was cleaned daily. From the free hot tub to the free washer/drier a brilliant stay. Slightly off the main centre of Pahia but opposite the supermarket.

The cabins were great and close to the town centre, a lovely 10-15 minute walk. Would stay there again if visiting Paihia.

The matress is too soft, the downstairs bedding sheet was dirty, even had the dirty marks on it, I put my kids stay there, a bit disappointed!

We had 4 adults and 1 kids stay, after 2 adults had shower, we dont have hot water for shower, it was cold and not comfortable at all, a bit disappointed.

Fantastic stay. Our apartment had everything we could possiblely needed , large and very comfortable. It also had some great small touches that showed these owners really care about these apartments. Beautiful surroundings and an amazing hot tub in the bush. Highly recommended.
