The location of the apartment is ideal, not far from the hustle and bussel, but more than close enough to transport links, even the airport bus is a short distance away. The closest metro link is in the same block, with the next nearest line about a 5 to 10 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly throughout our trip, check in and out was a breeze. Our trip was only for 10 nights and the apartment was cleaned at the end of the first week. There is a safe in the room to store your valuables, but we didn't find that security was an issue, the apartment block has a coded entrance as well as you have. A key fob for your apartment. The lift isn't the biggest, so with a large amount of luggage a few trips may be required. My only negative would be the traffic noise below, while the double glazing on the doors cuts out most of the traffic, anyone not used to the noise may be put off, while only a minor irritant, it's nothing that prevented sleep. Bonus for the hot weather there is an Aircon, which doesn't take too long to cool the apartment off. The kitchen appliances have either been seldom used or have been recently replaced or both, there was a capsule coffee machine ( a few capsules are included)as well as a kettle for those preferring tea. Overall would highly recommend, and will likely use ourselves again.

The property is in a very sketchy area. Does not feel safe at all. After checking in, the elevator would not come down because there system is so dated, that the person using it before, needs to close a double door (which they rarely do). As soon as I opened the first door to my unit, there’s continuos screaming coming from the unit next to us. Non stop screaming. At night, it seems the unit above us had kids that would not stop running. In summary, the walls in this place are paper thin. The soap dispenser was empty from the get go. When we emailed them to ask them to refill it, their answer was “bring it to the front office from 10AM to 3PM”. Do they think we travel to stay in the room?!?! Terrible service. If you want to stay at a place that has zero amenities, and zero customer service, this is the place for you. Otherwise,I suggest you look in a more centric area as their prices are very comparable to hotels with real customer service

The location was very nice and the receptionist super helpful and sweet. The room was very clean and it was a pleasant stay.

I made a mistake and booked this property the same day my wife made arrangements for us to stay with at a friends house. I quickly contacted Experdia and Eric Vökel Boutique properties and they would not allow a refund even though the reservation was 3 weeks out. I called an Expedia customer service number and then got scammed! By far the worst customer experience I ever encountered.

Location has easy access to most places but not the cleanest nicest area in Barcelona. The apartment is a good size, we had 2 stays there and our first unit was better than second one. There is an elevator but doesn’t always work. Check in without front desk available was easy.

This was our 2nd stay at this place and our suite was not as clean or nice as first round. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and being on 7th floor with elevator not working all the time didnt make it easy. The nice thing is the good size and easy access to other areas of the city

Great place in a good location.

This was a very nice property. It was clean, safe spacious and had a nice view from the bedroom. It was very walkable to transportation, little markets, pharmacy etc. It had a good setup for after hours checkin as well. The only downside was the shower. It was quite small. The shower gel and shampoo were located right above the area you stand and can be very slick if any drips down. The drain cover was raised and not secure. My husband slipped on it because it was slick and it slid off the drain. We believe this is a design flaw that needs to be addressed. Beyond this, it was a lovely stay.

This was an excellent place to stay for the most part! We came with small children and (perhaps out of fear of the windows) they gave us a room on the first floor with a beautiful outdoor patio. There was a small nook bed which was so perfect for our time during the day. The apartment was equipped with washer and dryer (all in one) and they offered washing pods for guests which made a big difference in our trip. It’s next to excellent restaurants and right in the red line of the Barcelona metro which was convenient. The host who greeted us was very kind and informative and helped us arrange a taxi for our 4:00 am flight as well. My only complaint is the noise of the neighbors on our last day. We were up most of the night and could hear EVERY noise they made…it was quite frustrating. Overall the good overshadowed the bad and it was a place I would recommend to travelers - particularly with young children.

We loved stay at the Eric Vokel Gran Via Suites. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything, from providing directions, dining suggestions, and how to operate the washer and dryer, and keeping the property spotless. Our suite was bright and spacious, with all the amenities we needed for our stay in Barcelona. And the short proximity to the Rocafort Metro Station made traveling around Barcelona to the city’s famous sites a breeze. The suites are in an older but well maintained building and the only negative feedback is the speed of the ancient elevator, but we took it as in opportunity to use the stairs for more exercise. All in all, we loved staying here and would stay again.

The apartment itself is clean but pretty small. The room I got was the one bedroom with sofa bed. For 4 adults, it was pretty tight. The elevator was especially small. Overall a good stay.

This is my first time in Barcelona. It was a great time and a great location! Check in was made a little harder than it should be and there was some confusion about my wife lying to the front desk about an email. Long story-but my wife’s fault lol. My wife didn’t lie either though. Due to her annoyance with my wife she made us wait an additional 30 minutes until the clock said 3pm exactly. I teased my wife about it but she was very tired and our Spanish is not very good. Perfect time there, the room was beautiful, and the hotel is at the perfect location with a beautiful balcony. I would recommended this place to anyone going to Barcelona. There are several restaurants nearby and the metro is very close and you can get anywhere from there.

We absolutely adored our week-long stay! We felt completely safe and were delighted that everything we required was just a short walk away. The location couldn't have been better, with the metro station just a minute away. The receptionists were always friendly and ready to offer helpful guidance whenever we needed it.

Great location. Central area from all places to see around Barcelona.

It felt safe. It was walkable distance to most attractions (less than 2 mile walks to everything we did). The room was super clean. It had a kitchen, a laundry (washer and dryer in one), comfortable beds, and space for our family of 5 with two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. Good air conditioning. Overall, We really liked it. The only two downsides that I noticed: you get one roll of toilet paper and if you want more you are expected to purchase it yourself. That’s not what I’m used to but it’s doable. The check in is 3 pm. We got an email a week prior stating that they’d try to work with us if we arrive early and let them know in advance. They said they might be able to provide earlier check in. They did not. Not even close. We notified them several days prior that we’d arrive around 10 am. We didn’t get to go into our room until 3:05 pm. They did store our luggage for us so that we could go out. In summary we do recommend the place, because nothing is perfect in life, but it hopefully helps to know these details.

Apartments were comfort and clean. Nice to have stocked kitchen. Plenty of restaurants and grocery store in close proximity. Transportation was easy as the metro is on the corner. The staff were friendly and very helpful

Stay here anytime you’re in the city with kids or a small group. The apartment was perfect and spotless with all the necessities provided. The staff were all so wonderful- they made my family feel very special and comfortable whilst I was in my meetings. Great location and easy access to all the tourist spots too.

The apartment was nice and quiet. The sofa was in comfortable. The kitchen was ok. Not enough tools to make a good dinner. The knives need sharpening. We enjoyed making breakfast every morning. The elevator is a nightmare. We were on the fifth floor so we had to walk to zero floor after waiting for 20 minutes with it stuck in the lobby floor. We went down to see what is wrong but the door was shut which means it should have moved. I took my luggage down the stairs at 4 am since the elevator was not coming up.

Easy to get to using public transportation. Room was spacious and clean. The hotel is within walking distance from plenty of dining and grocery options.
