Property was nice. Clean. Kitchenette was not stocked so bring your own pots and pans. Staff was friendly for the most part except one incident with my daughter’s service animal. Overall decent property decent staff for the price

Quiet place good to stay

The owner was completely rude to me. He yelled at me. Do not stay here. I understand why the rates are the lowest in town. He’s a miserable person. Most unprofessional horrible customer service I have ever received. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PLACE.

The only thing i dont like was the Windows,,, to much light but everything is perfect,,i set up a blanket to cover the window to make more darker my room

We stayed for a family Services. The place was everything we needed. We used the washing machines & pool. Very nice.

An enjoyable stay overall. Towels were rough and so were the blankets. It seemed clean. Extra perks: full size refrigerator and stove. Unable to use stove due to no pans, but good to know they're available. Also, coffee pot was available but no coffee!! That was somewhat disappointing. All in all, it was a good stay.

Great budget friendly place! Great size loved that it had a bedroom and kitchenette! Only 10 minutes from South Padre. Would definitely recommend!

The air in our room wasnt working properly and as soon as we told them they quickoy switched us to an even better room that had seriously strong ac. Also, the parking was free and it was nothing just to drive over the bridge to the island. Only like 10 min to get to louies backyard restaurant. It was way cheaper than other options and i was very impressed with what we got. Pool was in good working shape too!

I stumbled across this property driving by it one day while in the area and decided to give it a try. I liked the location being on the outskirts of Port Isabel and away from the causeway traffic to and from South Padre Island. There is a traffic light at the intersection next to the property to easily get out in weekend/holiday traffic. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a room with an extra bedroom and large kitchen with a large round table with chairs which was great to eat at or as a cards/game table. Everything was clean, air conditioning worked like a champ, there is a large step up from the sidewalk to get into the room. Not sure if every room has a step up, but for ADA people that is an FYI. In our room there were two TV’s, but one wasn’t working due to batteries removed in the remote. There was a large closet in the bathroom with a very clean bathtub/shower with shower curtain. I pick up on mildew smells easily and there were none. There is a cute pool in the middle of the parking lot with a brick wall and gate around it for privacy and no little people wandering away. I would equate the property to a Motel 6/Red Roof Inn. The price was awesome, especially over the 4th of July holiday. This is a property we will definitely return to many times.

Cleanliness and quiet

I enjoyed my stay for 3 nights and 4 days. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. They had to change out fridge for another because it wasn't getting cold. Otherwise, if i come back down again, it'll be my spot to reserve.

The pool was closed few times we been in this month theres some people staying on the property there alwas outside making uncomfortable for my kids smoking weed outside not safe for the kids

Good location for a cheaper rate and close to the Island. Overall good place to lodge just not a super fancy place.

If people like staying where roaches roam 24/7 then this is the place for you. Drains floors dirty. Showering with the water all up to your knees. Dont waste your money!

Location ok very quiet

The check-in process was fine for late night, but my room felt slimy. I could expect that a bit being in an area where humidity is an issue, but there was no humidity in the days leading up to my visit. The AC also didn't work, so that had me sleeping in a room that was 77 degrees. Everything else just looked like it was about to fall apart.
