Great time.

Everything was good except our room was next to the laundry and the staff was noisy, bumping carts against the wall with the in and out of the housekeeping. Would have asked for another room but was already settled in with an elder in a wheelchair and moving is not easy.

Perfect location.

Paid 2400 for 4 nights. There was not a single cleaning or sheet/towel exchange. Bed was very uncomfortable. The room was definitely not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend. Mainstay suites is much better for way less money surprisingly

As someone who was visiting for a short time having shuttle transportation on site to areas that were near (restaurants/shopping) was great! I loved our drivers - they offered great suggestions, they were personable, friendly, and had the utmost southern respect!

The stay was great. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and check in was less than 5 mins. The Suite was gorgeous and clean. The restaurant/bar was great and breakfast the next day was delicious, ordered an omelette from the omelette station! Checkout was about 10 seconds because I requested a print out of my receipt. Everything was great. Also a great location, Mall & several restaurants less than 5 mins. if you want to do some shopping or eating off site

I feel this hotel is one of the best in Baton Rouge. The area was fairly quiet, felt safe, and in a good location close to shopping and dining options. The King standard room was very spacious and comfortable. There are hotels closer to the LSU campus, but staying at The Renaissance Marriott was worth an extra 7-10 minutes in the car.

Expedia screwed up my dates and the staff was very helpful in figuring it out. And very polite. Had issue with the door and the maintenance arrived super quickly.

Absolutely terrible management in the restaurant. No effort, no leadership by example, slow everything. No excuse for a “manager” to just stand near the bar shooting the breeze with the staff while drinks can be run, tables busses, guests acknowledged, food run, etc. Quite literally, she did nothing for the entirety of our experience. And it’s not ok for a beer to take 15 minutes in that small of a place when not busy. She didn’t care a lick about working, and that trickles down to the team. Nice hotel, great front desk, comfortable and clean room. Will stay again, just not going near that brutal excuse for a bar/restaurant.

I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and it was a immaculately clean. Everything was so nice. The service was excellent. The bed were comfortable. I wipe down everything with lysol wipes and didn't find one stitch of dirt or dust!! Marriott complementary breakfast was good and they even had complementary food and snacks for Marriott members for dinner... I was really impressed with the Renaissance Hotel. I am definitely going to stay there again when I visit my daughter at LSU that will always be my first choice!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is just lovely! The Lobby is beautiful! The check in and check out experience was super friendly and quick! The temperature in the room was perfect even on the 10th floor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Will definitely recommend to others and will be staying there again!

Are flight arrived Early so we made it to the hotel at 10:45a , even tho I am a rewards member and messaged ahead that I would need Early check-in when I arrived I was meet with almost Rude Dry answers about check in and was informed check-in was not until 3p (“sorry nothing I can do”) we were extremely tired since we had to drive a distance first to get on our 5am flight to Baton Rouge, since we were early you would think there would be some type of accommodations in place weather there’s a extra fee for early check in or they could Message the housekeepers so their aware and can begin to clean our room next, first, fast, expedited or even give us one tht has already been cleaned… I’ve worked in a Hotel before for 5years and Early guest are always priority,,, instead we had to sit in the lobby for 2hrs and then we were took to the 2nd floor which I assume is for excess to gold or platinum members sat there for 3hrs this is unacceptable there is absolutely no way possible are room could possibly have taken 3hrs to clean when check out is at 12noon this is Shameful Terrible and the worst part on our check out day the house keepers started knocking at the door to clean at 8am on our floor WOW,, will never be back to this Hotel for this reason and will encourage family and friends to Book elsewhere this Hotel needs better training in customer care and customer service immediately!!!!!

Me and my husband decided to do an overnight getaway, and it was great. This was our second time staying at the Renaissance Baton Rouge and we loved it. The location and the friendly staff are our main reason for choosing this hotel.

Very clean and upscale vibe. Room was very nice. Only complaint would be the pillows aren't very comfortable and relatively flat. Would def stay again but would bring our own pillows. Otherwise, great location. Close to shopping and dining. Does not offer free Wi-Fi, but Wi-Fi is available for a fee. We didn't spend much time in the room though, so wasn't an issue for us. Would definitely stay here again

Renaissance hotel was the best stay I’ve ever had as far as hospitality, location, cleanliness. The only complaint I could give the hotel would be the lack of lighting in the parking lot and walkways.
