Wonderful palazzo located in Castellina de Chianti. The house is an ancient “palazzo” and some parts look like a museum. The entrance is on the street side, and the back of the hotel faces the Tuscany hills with vineyards and olive trees. There are a lovely pool and garden. The hotel offers parking at the entrance of village. We had a room with hills views. We enjoyed waking up with the sunset in such an amazing environment. Our room was very spacious. Staff is very helpful.
Lovely place close to Siena. Highly recommend it.

Our hotel stay was truly incredible! Wonderful views, tucked away in a tiny adorable walkable Tuscan town in the heart of Chianti! The beds were so comfortable, great showers, wonderful breakfast included and with a great view and truly incredible staff and service! We had to leave early for a flight ( before breakfast was open) so they even packed a goodie bag full of breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, bananas, waters and juice! Will definitely be recommending this hotel for friends and family going to Tuscany!

This is by far the BEST and most AMAZING hotel I have ever stayed. Very clean on such a beautiful property. Everyone is extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. This included calling a personal driver to get around (there is no cab service in Chianti). This property is also affiliated with a vineyard and a restaurant next door, which you will recieve a 10% discount.

Loved this sweet hotel and staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Lovely large room, delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Elevator was a plus. Parking was a tad tricky but no problem once you figure it out. Small town with nice shopping and restaurants. Owner, Monica, was a doll. Don’t hesitate to book here. Great experience.

We loved our stay here! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so nice and helpful. The restaurant terrace also overlooks a stunning view. Definitely would return here!!

My husband and I recently went on a 13 day trip through Italy. This hotel and town were our favorite by far. Lots to do from hiking, winery tours, relaxing by the pool, and enjoying a quaint village. We would definitely return.

From the warm welcome and efficient service at reception through to our final check-out, this was a first class experience. The room was most comfortable, and quiet, even though we had booked on the street side of the hotel. . Breakfast was superb, the lounge warm and inviting, internet facilities were excellent, the staff were helpful and accomodating. . We were sorry to have had insufficient time to enjoy the spa and only one night with the Squarcialupi.

The people were wonderful. The owner helped us so much when we had a problem with our rental car. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the location is perfect.

A great place, a wonderful location but not a welcoming staff. Few indications on how to get there, even less on how to park, didn't get the best room and they pretended it was all the fault of hotels.com. In addition they have a very poor internet connection. But the Palazzo and its location make up for any failure.
