The issue was the ac air mover wasn’t working and it was very hot in the room and they couldn’t fix it for the 4 days. We had to go get a fan just to sleep at night …

The hotel was nice and clean and central. The room had very little natural light, it felt dark on a very sunny day.

We enjoyed our stay of 11 days. Spacious room and bathroom. Shower has a poor design as water runs all over the bathroom floor. And we missed a small fridge in the room. Breakfasts were very good. The beds were comfortable. The Scandic Aarhus City Hotel is well situated near restaurants and shops.

This hotel was convenient for the centre of Aarhus, parking was expensive (300DKK per night) but safe and convenient. Loved that they were eco-minded: only servicing rooms on request, minimum food wastage in restaurant. Clean, comfortable and helpful staff.

Nearly everything was great, except the LED lights flickered on and off all night unless the card was removed, which is potentially a hazard if you needed to get out in the middle of the night

Loved the stay. The room is convenient, the breakfast is hearty, the staff is friendly, and the location is superb. In the city's center, you can walk to many restaurants and shops and to Dokk1, the city's library, which is also worth visiting. It was impressive how environmentally friendly this hotel is as well.

We loved our stay at Scandic Aarhus City so much that we came back at the end of our trip as well. The front desk staff was so welcoming and kind, eager to visit with us and to help us find out more about Aarhus. That welcoming atmosphere continued throughout all the breakfasts (can we talk about all the oatmeal options?) and throughout our entire stay in Aarhus. We walked everywhere from our hotel—to ARos Art Museum, to the department store Salling and its rooftop patio right down the street, and to and from the train station. The location was perfect for us—as was the relaxing feeling when we returned to our suite and balcony. A wonderful stay and a wonderful feeling we will keep with us. Thank you to everyone for making us feel at home…

Location is great, rooms spacious and bathrooms also. Slow service at the bar though and restaurant closed on Sundays. Great breakfast

We chose this hotel for its location - a block from my sister's apartment - and it certainly excelled at being in the center of things! I don't know that we would choose it again if proximity to family weren't our priority. That said, the room was clean, but sparse (e.g. barely any toiletries, no decorations or rugs, etc.). The breakfast buffet was robust and tasty, and the staff was helpful with issues large and small.

Kids everywhere. In the corridors. In the elevators. In the lobby. In the stairwell. In the restaurant. At all times. For someone traveling without kids it felt like being in a kindergarten looking at sound level and the amount of running and playing. I haven’t got anything against kids. It was just too much this time when a toddler were seated in the 30cm space between the tables and then decided to scream the entire meal. If you like a calm stay. Try something else. If you can handle kids everywhere it’s a centrally placed nice hotel.

Hotel is nice, but rooms are a bit outdated. There were a few issues with the room (toilet kept running, safe deposit box was defective), but it was taken care of quickly, so the service level is very good and personnel was very friendly.

The corridors are in dire need of a refurbishment but the lobby and rooms are well equipped. Room clean and quiet despite the street view. The breakfast is good too. The central location allows to go anywhere by foot. Main downside is the overpriced parking. 180 for the night does feel like a rip off.

We had 2 days stay at Scandic Aarhus- and the staff was very nice - a llittle problem by check in - the rest was fine.. 4 things we did not like #1 the idea that you need to time your breakfast a day in advance - sleeping at a hotel the nice thing is people service you when you need and not much planning #2 We dont like to have to order cleaning - kind of makes you ask for service you already paid for - in case the Hotel would give you a discount for keeping your own room clean it may work - maybe #3 if you have scrambled eggs at your bufffet use eggs not egg-powder - its really not good #4 The toilet at our room was so high up my daughter (15 years old) could not reach the floor - design flaw and the toilet paper is so far way you can reach it without standing up (even me and I am 6,2") again design flaw

Nice hotel with great location. Really in the center of city but no noice. Friendly staff with clean rooms. No real difference between stadnard and superior room but all romms are nice. Parking is expensive at the hotel but you can park 50 M form the hotel for less

Rude staff - poor service

Poor customer service. Needed to cancel room due to covid-19 crisis and impossibly to travel to Denmark. This hotel is the only one out of 5 we had booked for this trip who refused to reimburse the fees.

It is conveniently located in the middle of the city area. Housekeeping could be better in terms of cleaning the bathroom.
