The cutest room!

The Bucksport Inn has been a mainstay on Main Street for many years and has been completely updated within the recent past. Driving up to the front entry you are greeted with planters filled with welcoming beautiful flowers. We arrived about a half hour before check in but our room was ready and we were able to check in early by two ladies at the front desk who were just as friendly and helpful as they could be. The rooms have been updated with Bath Fitter bathtubs, LED ceiling lights, and the cutest mini fridge/freezer combos. We stayed two nights and received service on the room after our first night, something we have started not seeing when staying at larger hotel chains. Although we didn't take advantage, the large back grass area had several picnic tables and grills, cornhole games, chairs and was lit at night with overhead strings of bulbs. The parking space directly in front of each room is huge, no worries about either hitting the car or being hit by the car in the next space.

What a nice place. It’s exceptionally clean and the staff is very warm and kind. It is easy to find and parking is both ample and right at your door. Our room (#3) was really large. We’d go here again for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I don't understand how it is only has 2 Stars. I did not know what to expect. But it is a top place to stay for me. I will stay again when we are in the area. The people that run it are so kind and want to please. It is clean, down to the corners of the baseboards. Beds were comfortable. The room has everything you could need. The rooms in the back area, which I will be sure to have again, are amazing. We had our small dog with us, and it was perfect for him. They have cleared out part of the wooded area. There are fire pits, chairs, games to play, and a pathway to walk on. Located in the center of town. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

A great place for any family with kids. Very clean. The back yard was exceptional with corn hole game, horseshoe pit, campfire sites, gas grills, walking path, etc. Just a great place!!

Was unsure about a local "inn/motel" but man were we glad we booked here. It's about 40 minutes to Acadia, but 1/2 of the price of anything in or near Bar Harbor. VERY clean, nice space, and comfortable beads. Would absolutely recommend people to stay here.

Our room was very pleasant, clean and well cared for. Downtown Bucksport is almost within walking distance. We would certainly consider staying here again.

Room was clean and modern. Love that you park right in front of the door to your room. Very nice backyard area with grills, multiple fire pits and plenty of seating. Quiet property and staff is helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

The place was very cute and my girlfriend got a really good feeling about the place. We had just driven in from a side trip to Canada and the hotel called to make sure we were ok and to discuss the late check in procedure. The room was clean and had a classic hotel feel. The bed was comfortable and all the bathroom things worked great. The only draw back to the place was in the middle of the night I fumbled my way to the bathroom and when I flipped on the light, it was so bright, I most fell in the tub. Otherwise, our stay was perfect. Plus the breakfast spots and pizza spots nearby were awesome. I will be back.

This is the very best Inn of this type I have ever stayed in. The tub was shiny!! So clean and beautiful. I've never stayed at another Motel style place that had such a nice bathroom, it even had a mirror that could be pulled out to view the back of your head or to flip the side to see in magnification. Wow! And we loved the retro style fridge. The freezer part worked great to keep our ice packs for our trip back home. Staff was so friendly. We will definitely stay their again and tell all our friends.

Front desk check in was a breeze and the woman checking us in was so nice. She recommend a great place for dinner nearby. The room was comfortable and quiet.

We loved this motel! So clean and such a cute mom and pop inn! I wish there were more of these motels left. It was such a refreshing change from the chain motels.

Very pleasant stay - only 2 nights - but the room was clean, quiet, and appointed. No complaints! Check in was quick, courteous, and friendly. We parked right in front of the room, no problem. A Dunkin Donuts was located next door, open at 5 AM for us early bird coffee drinkers, so we were very happy.
