Clean & comfortable. Good size room. Good guest Laundry facilities. On-site restaurant not open Sunday & Monday not even for breakfast.

Spacious room, spa bath, easy parking, immaculately clean. Very enjoyable stay. Would stay there again.

Really great place to stay. Great huge room. Shower pressure was great and jet bath was a nice addition. Just be aware, when using expedia to book and you choose to pay a deposit, the money doesnt come out. The property advised me they only take full payments or pay at property on arrival.

Rubbish bin had not been emptied from prior tenants. Insufficient cutlery/glasses. Beds are uncomfortable - too hard and no mattress cover or under blanket. Shower was fantastic though!

This was my third visit to the Anchorage Motor Lodge. We'll be back. just a five-minute walk to several excellent restaurants and pubs.

Good location. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Dated bedding but it was clean. I left 2 items in the fridge-my drink bottle and a container of sweet snacks. I’d checked out but didn’t leave Napier until the afternoon so I would have appreciated a phone call.

Nice location clean big room just a bit noisy being close to the road at night otherwise pleasant with easy walking tracks to the beach and cafes

Fabulous having the spa queen with sea view as it felt so restful. Sadly people returning late on Saturday night with raucous chatting and a distressed woman whose date didn't turn out so well woke us up. Really nice to have plunger coffee although sadly ran out of green tea and there were none to be had in the entire motel when I asked for a swap with the lemon tea which was supplied to our unit in abundance. Very close to Shed 2 a gastropub that out performed the gastropub we visited recently in Waikanae. Shed 2 has amazing food and the prices are reasonable.

Nice, clean and spacious property with the view of the marine right across the road. Walking distance to a few restaurants. City centre is a few minutes drive. Parking onsite is easy too. Can't really fault it. Enjoyed our time staying at the Anchorage.

One night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Spa bath was ok. Great location with great bars and eateries a minutes walk away. A couple of minutes from the airport.

I stayed here during really hot weather so I appreciated the awesome air conditioning. My room had a spa bath which was also awesome. The bed was comfortable and the Wifi was fast. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance and it was nice to look out the room window and see the marina. I was too scared to make toast because there was a sign next to the toaster that said it could set off the fire alarm and then I would have to pay $NZ500!

Noisy neighbours and thin walls

A really nice property with pleasant receptionists . Clean and spacious room its just the noise is a slight issue - i could hear normal level sounds from the adjacent room eg text message pings

Could not use any product in bath, they dont like cleaning , got ready for spa bath and found NO towels. When they brought them up they were kid size. Worst night sleep was had driving 6 hours after that.

Drove in & had room keys in hand in no time at all. Welcoming staff & happy to help you out. Had 2 units, asked that one had a small bed in it for a young grandchild & it was all there and set up. Comfortable beds & a spa bath & plates utensils etc. A 4 Square store (NZ version of a mini supermarket or 7/11) less than 2 kms away which also stocked wine & beer. Lots of cafes & restaurants close by. Would I stay here again? Yes, thank for making our stay enjoyable & giving our friends arriving the next day an early check in.. appreciated by all.

The location was good. Close to restaurants. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. But noisy with traffic at night. Big room with table to sit at. Overall. Good value for the money
