It was a disgusting, smelly and unsafe hotel. The room was dirty, with rising damp on the walls, loose fittings and a washroom that smelt like an open sewer. It was also extremely unsafe, I had a severely cracked window that was held together with tape.

It was the worst experience we have ever had with hotel. We landed there in 1,30 am arrived in the hotel by taxi around 2 am but the person in charge there did not speak any english and did not let us in the room for 2 hours. In the end they forced in smoking room full of cigarate smell explaining there is no other room we had to stay there because it was already after 3 am

If you are thinking about staying here because you have a long layover at the Shenzhen airport like I did, think again.I arrived at just after 12:00 A.M. with 7 hours of sleep possible before I had to get back in a taxi and back to the airport. I came prepared with copies of my reservation, confirmation numbers etc...I get in the door, hand over my passport and proceed to wait for close to two hours as the goon behind the desk fails, and fails again to find my reservation. "Good news!", he tells me, "We have a room left you could pay for!"No amount of receipts or booking numbers would convince them that I had already paid.I think they were trying to double charge me frankly assuming I was too tired and seeing as how it was too late to get a room elsewhere they almost got me. Thankfully Hotels.com actually had my back called them as I was sitting at the front desk. Unfortunately, they had less luck trying to convince them than I did, because the staff at hotels.com don't speak Chinese, while I do, but hey, at least they were trying. At around the 2:00 mark something happened, maybe I simple outlasted them but they suddenly found my reservation under the name and booking number I had been providing them since I walked in the door.5 hours of sleep later, I was not a very happy camper.Whether it was actually a scam or just incredibly incompetence, I strongly discourage anyone else from taking the risk. Go somewhere else. This place isn't worth it.

Comfortable bed, rare in china not mention great bathroom with frosted glass not clear another problem with china so some privacy... great water pressure & separate shower from toilet so no wet toilet seat like a large prion of chinese hotels. Staff is amazing and very helpful! Lots of resturants in area. Taxi 6¥ so easy subway access or you can walk.

This hotel is fantastic. Breakfast, especially chinese noodle is good. There is very reasonable supermarket near the hotel. Very good access to the long distance and local bus stops. I could get to the airport but station for 3 mins on foot! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good value for money!!

It is a good basic hotel for the price.

Good for the price. Traffic noise in mornings, park noise (singing and dancing) in evenings, but not really a problem if you dont need much sleep. Id stay here again.

Satisfactory. Friendly. No frills. No surprises. Also, rudimentary and passable English.
One negative: Hotel does not really airport transfer and this should not be listed among its services!

The Green Oasis or Nan Hai Hotel is terrific budget hotel. I stayed there a few weeks and was fairly happy. Im giving this place five stars because it is the best value Ive seen in Shenzhen in this price range and the kind staff went out their way to help me a few times. Great to have a washing machine guests can use too. You do get what you pay for in other ways though. The hotel seems a little run down in some places but it is fairly clean, the A/C was cool and I always got plenty of clean towels (even if sometimes they were very worn). The staff were always kind and some went out of their way to help me a few times. Several staff members spoke excellent English. Vicky spoke amazing English. I strongly suggest they stop the smoking in no smoking areas. I have no idea what kind of low class person thinks it is ok to smoke in an elevator. Are all the no smoking signs just decorations? The place is also noisy unfortunately. No window sound proofing whatsoever. The quietest nights were those when it was raining. Often there was loud music playing most evenings coming from the nearby park. You will probably even hear air drills from the bus company behind the hotel even at 1am. Wish I were kidding about this. Light sleepers should bring some earplugs.

This is a relatively good budget hotel. The hotel could use a coat of paint and some minor upkeep. The picture of the outside is not correct.Unlike many other Chinese hotels in this price range they actually know what a no smoking room is. Unfortunately my huge complaint about the place is the horrible air caused from the smoking that some employees do nothing about. The worst was in the elevator but I also saw people smoking openly in the in the lobby and stairwells. The signs clearly state no smoking but it seems like some employees are too timid to tell the smokers to stop. Very poor management. I would have given a higher rating if not for this.PositivesClean room, cold A/C, plenty of wall plugs. No adaptors needed.Good neighborhood. One of the largest malls in Shenzhen is about a ten minute walk away. Lots of greats eats and treats all around.A few of the front desk people speak pretty good English.I never had calls or cards left on the door from masseurs or interesting ladies as is common in this price range for hotels.NegativesLow class people smoking in elevator and other clearly marked no smoking areas.Noise. The hotel windows have absolutely no sound proofing. Lots of horns in the day time from the electric bikes. Seriously one of the noisiest hotels Ive stayed in anywhere.Worn towels, sometimes with holesNot very close to the subway. They advertise a ten minute walk. 20-25 minutes is more realistic for most folks.

a simple no frills hotel. Only stay if you need a place to sleep for the night. Decent cleanliness. it's a 10 min walk to the nearest subway station. It's near a major highway so do expect some traffic noise during rush hour.

I had 5 nights at the green oasis, i flew to Hong Kong and then a taxi to the green oasis which cost 200Rmb £20 which i thought was good value as its a fair trip.
The Hotel inst the same as the main image and the taxi driver took a while to find it , it is near a very busy cross section where there is a bus park and every one beeps all day and night. There are men that drive around on mopeds and honk at everyone if they want a lift, the taxis seem to honk at them and the busses at the taxis
The room could do with a lick of paint, it was cleaned daily and the cleaners where very friendly and would always say hello, the bed was rock hard but after a couple of nights i got used to it. I forgot how busy China is, there are not many white people in this area i saw 7 all week and be prepared to be pointed at by children and adults.
I felt quite safe walking around but im a large 46 year old male. Have a wlk down to Hiya Hyper mall and when you come out the doors near Kentucky turn right walk about 50 yards and then turn right again and there is a Market, its quite pungent but worth a walk around, its polite to ask if you can take a picture point at the camera and the peole and they will nod or shake their heads.
Have a good trip if you go.
