Great stay, extremely clean, well furnished, good client service, in the city center, near airport, tasty breakfast with many choices. A little more bath products would be appreciated. I recommend !

Pleasant stay in Bratislava, 10 mins walk from the Old Town.

When you try to book is not easy on the phone. Pricing up and down too much Breakfast is good. Room with one bed room are as single occupancy not bad , but double bed is to high compared .. Better to book with other tour operator

I arrived late at night by taxi and did find the reception hard to find, (it’s in the middle) however I enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff, clean and not far to walk to places.

15 minutes walk away from the train station and 15 minutes away from the historic centre. Staff spoke good English. The hotel was clean and modern. The room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is a buffet with a decent selection, non-dairy and lactose free milk available and well as gluten free bread. Found a great pizza place only 3 minutes away from the hotel.

Great hotel in Bratislava, the room was spacious, oberall very comfy bed although the mattrass doesn't fit the frame proper and there's a small gap between the bedframe amd the headboard. The breakfast was okay, and the service we received was great.

Pretty good stay. Walkable location from the Old Town (about 15 mins), comfortable room.

I had time with door between the rooms. I could hear how speak and even snoring people in this room. Also very loudly people spoke outside all the time and all cleaning from the stuff members i could hear. So not so peaceful. Not too close to the center as well, need walk 30 minutes? Also was surprised to pay city tax 14 euros. But everything else was okay. Big bed, nice bath tub, nice stuff, tasty food. Also view was not too good , because there is construction. I would say 6-7 from 10.

Hotel Saffron is in a very good location. The hotel itself feels slightly dated but is well maintained. Room was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was what really stood out. Good variety of cold platters, boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. They had salad, fruits and some sweet desserts available every day. Excellent for a short stay!

Very nice hotel on the edge of the city centre. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was ok.

Absolutely dreadful ! The hotel overlooks a giant building site the size of many football pitches with concrete and cement mixtures and rubble ! The air conditioning stank and the lady at the front desk couldn’t even read my writing despite the fact I was a teacher for many years and made me rewrite it ! Absolute garbage of a hotel !

My second stay here at the Saffron Hotel. Yet again the service and friendliness was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff who dealt with me and especially Klaudia(spelling??) Who was helpful with local advice.

Very good hotel

Had a very nice stay and the check in staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Is quite handy for the railway station and around 10 minutes to walk.

Pre Check In : I informed through Hotels.com that my flight will arrive late in the night and I received a confirmation from the hotel very quickly Location : Excellent. Choice for 4 different tram lines within in a few minutes walk from the hotel. Check In : My flight got delayed & I arrived at the hotel at 1 AM and the check in process was very quick and efficient. Room : Good size room for two people. The mattress was very comfortable as well. Breakfast : Multiple choice of Veg, Non Veg & Desserts will suit most people. Check Out : Quick and Efficent Luggage Storage : A secure room is available and you are provided with a number to be used for collection. I will definitely stay here again. A few recommendations Bed Room The plug sockets in room 309 was located behind the bedside lamps & we had to pull ahead the lamps to access it. More sockets on the table will help. A printout with the Channels on TV & the language will be useful as I went through the channels multiple times to find an english channel. The pillows ar super soft. I would recommend having a choice of two pillows in the room for people who prefer harder pillows. Bath Room A soap holder in the shower will also help as you have to keep it on the floor and are in danger of slipping in the shower. A couple of hooks to hold the bath towels will also be useful.

This place was clearly quite smart in its day, and it has been preserved in a very presentable condition. There was not enough hot water for a shower or bath on one morning, but plenty on the other. I took breakfast, which was generous, and included some local colour. A free bottle of water in the room would have been nice. My room overlooked a huge building site, but there wasn't much going on, so it was possible to open the window. This was a good thing because the room, even with the aircon on, was very stuffy. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. I needed to print a train ticket which had been sent to me by email and they took this in their stride. Handy for trams, and walkable to the historic centre in 15-20 minutes. All in all, a nice place in its dated way.

Nice hotel close to the city center

Staff were very helpful and the room was good and clean. Close to the city centre (walkable) and international bus station. The room did feel a little hot but the window opens up so no trouble.

A very weird location, and perhaps not the most attractive of areas. Very easy walk into the old town area and its attractions. Can recommend the Chinese restaurant in the building in front (You may even get a chuckle from some of the translations into English. I didn't try the "chicken with odd taste" but the picture did look ok). The room itself was noisy. You can hear everything in the corridor and people in the next room were clearly audible. If you need a taxi, get the reception people to book it. The company they use charge the best rates.
