Nice and easy place to stay when visiting Disney

A great location for access to activities and sights on beautiful Lantau Island

The air conditioning is outdated and very noisy when turning on AC. If no AC, the room carpet smells and the place felt too humid.

We really like this hotel and the island :) We have stayed at this hotel three times and always enjoyed the nice sea view! This time, we even saw the Disney fireworks!

nice view, clean room but transport is very inconvenient

Nice facility however there needs to be a focus on re-developing the shopping/restaurant venues.

Excellent hotel and services

Wonderful Wonderful stay. We had a king room overlooking the waterfront. Beautiful views of Central Hong Kong from our room. Inexpensive taxi to/from the airport. We got the Oyster card (in our case the Elder version) and filled it with HKD 150 which was enough for buses, ding dings, ferry. Very easy to get around. Discovery Bay was wonderful.

It is too green. If something is missing, then it is because they are trying to be green or the government gave them some excuse to be so. No facial tissues, no razor. Everything else is outstanding.

Beautiful location

Very remote from crowded city. We can take the ferry back to central easily.

Kids playroom is disappointing

This was an excellent choice. The bed and shower were amazing, the room spacious and well divided, amenities were good and the breakfast variety and flavour on par with the price. Proximity to Disney and extra shuttles to the park as well as to the metro were a good perk.

Nothing much

The hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff are very friendly. Definitely would return in the future.

Be warned if you’re travelling with children.! When you book a room for three (2 adults and a child) you are forced to pay for a bigger room (suite) and only at check in do you discover they expect the child to sleep in the same bed with you (the two adults)! Even if the child is 10 or 11 - ages are required to be provided during booking. The sofa is not a sofa bed. They will then try to charge you extra for the roll away bed. Management then arguing that it’s totally clear and okay that a child should share a bed with you. The bed size is the same as in a normal room so it’s just a scam to make you pay for the suite. Children also not included in breakfast even if you have paid for a room with breakfast. It’s as if the children are an inconvenience. Paying extra for a larger room does not get you much. Really disappointed with this service and then attitude of management. They waived the extra bed charge eventually but argued to the bitter end that it was acceptable to claim a room sleeps 3 when it actually doesn’t. Hotel is otherwise okay. Breakfast choice limited. Gym equipment very basic and pool not open on winter. Shuttle bus not very frequent either (only operates at weekends) and be warned, shuttle to Disney needs booking day before but they don’t let you know that till you realise too late and then can’t get a slot

Excellent hotel

Lovely hotel. Beautiful views from mountain side or seaside. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub but looked amazing. Room service for breakfast was great and reasonably price.

Great property, incredible views, great price, great staff. Not close to the city but only a short taxi drive away. Close to the airport and Disneyland. You do need to arrange transportation with hotel because Discovery Bay is a private reserve and not open to general travel. Could not be happier.

We got upgraded to suite. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Surrounded by beautiful area. Would recommend for visitors

The staff were very helpful. Beautiful surroundings and good breakfast. Not very convenient to travel to the city.

We were staying Hong Kong for 7 nights. We booked this hotel for the the 1st and last day. This hotel is excellent such as the staff are nice, friendly and helpful. On the other hand, the room is clean and tidy. I will book this Hotel again next time.

The girl at the front desk was incredible she arranged my Taxy pick up for next day early morning and even when she spent all night working she had a lovely smile and great actitud. Breakfast is excellent also the staff extremely happy and attentive. 5 star well trained staff congrats to their manager 👍 and thank you again
