We stayed here back in 2014. Was good to see it was still good. Location was convenient 10 mins walk to Kata Beach. Room was clean and cozy. Staff was warm and friendly. Would stay here again.

Affordable and central to where our friends stayed at and also near the beach. Nearby stores and and restaurant were also a bonus. Would come back again.

I like location - Kata beach. But it is not resort 4 star, maximum 2-3 star hotel, very noisy. Friendly and welcome staff mostly does not speak English.

Just an average place to stay in the hustle of kata beach. Good VALUE for money. I had a swim out room and sadly the room next to me was being repaired / painted so when I had air conditioning on my room filled with pain fumes. People congregate by the small pool waiting for taxis and day trips smoking. Breakfast was adequate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Short walk to beach. Kata is over run with Russian tourists do stay away as there are much nicer parts to visit.

A pleasant place to stay with a 4-minute walk to the beach. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good amenities and a great full breakfast. Basically clean, but they need to work on spiff and shine and beefier towels.

Breakfast was worth getting up for. 5 minutes walk to the beach only draw back was walking directly out onto a road with no sidewalk especially with kids. 10 minute walk to beach if not walking via the beach, again on a fairly busy road but drivers are aware of pedestrians. Was a little disappointed that we didn’t get an upgrade even though the booking offered this as part of the deal and our room was at the road side so a little noisy with traffic in the mornings. The staff did try to accommodate by offering a quieter room but the room was smaller and the view was not as nice. We did get a sea view room so not so bad. Overall myself and 2 children had a lovely stay and would stay there again. Although I would like to try the Sugar Marina Resirt - Fashion next time as it was more convenient for the beach.

I have stayed in this hotel previously and have always liked its proximity to the beach and modern comfort. However this time the hot water in my room does not work in the evenings when I most needed a hot shower and this problem has persisted throughout my entire stay. Their engineer could not fix this. And internet was working probably only 50% of the time. Hope they will get these basic things sorted out soon.

Hotel is a little dated. However, our room was a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. It was on the 2nd floor at furthest point from reception so was quiet. Breakfast selection was ok, not the best but not the worst. Hotel is within walking distance of beach and restaurants. Personally, we found Karon beach a better place to stay than Kata and closer to Patong if you are interested in what that offers. Whilst the hotel was ok next time I would go for something a little newer. Very limited parking.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to two beaches. The areas is also very well served and not as crowded as other areas in Phuket. The only drawback is related to the cleanliness, as it did not meet very high standards. It’s acceptable, but I would have expected more. I have to say that it improved over my stay, as I was more disappointed at the arrival. Overall, it’s a good compromise, as the quality price ratio is ok and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is average.

Great hotel very close to Kata and Karon. Can walk to many great restaurants. Very good breakfast.

Great hotel, would recommend for people who want to relax without too many tourist around :)

The hotel is well located next to the beach and local amenities. We stayed for one week and were immediately welcomed by the staff and invited to join in with a local tradition which was a pleasant experience.The hotel itself was a bit of a let down - looking a little tired and unkept. The cleaning of the rooms was done with pretty minimal effort and unfortunately our room had damp problems with wet bedsheets and a dank smell which the hotel tries their best to cover with air fresheners. Obviously the Thai climate has a say in this, so I can’t totally blame the hotel.The room itself was very spacious and the design, pleasing to the eye. One issue seems to be wardrobe space...there is none. Also - a safety deposit box that Was not bolted down to anything or Infact wired so it worked - sort of defeats the object of it really!The pool area was rather non descriptive. Open to the main road and car park it’s not really a place to enjoy the day but it looks pretty at night time.Staff were very polite,helpful and had a smile.Overall - the hotel pics advertised were obviously when it was first built so looks nicer than reality.However it serves its purpose as a 3 star rated hotel.

The Marina was a great peaceful place to stay. It was a great location with only being 5 minutes from the beach.

Overall a great hotel - clean, comfortable, spacious - only complaint is the wifi - reception is poor and when connected, speed is very very slow. Continues to disconnect as well.

The look and style of the hotel is lovely, with all rooms and premises all decked out in a cute nautical theme. The pool area does not get much sun, but the beach us just a few minutes walk away. The breakfast was good, but we all had slightly upset tummies during our stay. On the last day we suspect we may have seen the reason as we noticed that birds were flying into the open air restaurant area and standing on the food when it was left unattended, even in the omelette mix! Also, we saw staff passing around food and giving it a sniff trying to decide if it was off! The staff were mostly disinterested, playing with their phones most of the time. The room was quite dusty and not cleaned very well. Also, the staff were not particularly happy to give us a double room, even though this was what we had booked, suggesting we may prefer a twin on more than one occasion (I was with my husband and it was as if they had not had a gay couple stay there before!). On several occasions some staff burst into laughter after we walked past. It did make us feel a little uncomfortable and it was surprising for this to happen in Thailand.

I stayed in the pool access room for 4 nights. Room is very nicely decorated, hotel staffs were really nice and the pool is really beautiful. Would definitely return to this hotel when I'm in Phuket again.
