Perfect for what we needed

We were given a handicap room without asking for it, but it was too late for us to go get another room so we stayed. The bad part was that the shower flooded the bathroom and the water even went into the room and we had to dry this using the towels.
We have stayed in this hotel about 20 times during the past several years and we are very disappointed this time.

A-loft style with very friendly service. As in all Alofts room is comfortable and practical and lobby area nice to spend a while. Breakfast fast-food nothing special.

After we were in the room the air conditioning was not working call a couple of times to the front desk no answer..I had to get dress and go to the lobby to notify about the AC after and hour they told me they can change us to another room, we had to pick everything from the room my wife was already in bed and put everything back in our luggage then the new room the heater was on making the situation worse I had to go down the Lobby again and then change to AC and wait 2 hours for the room to a get cold we end up going to sleep like 3 am after 10 hours diving to get there horrible experience

Beautiful room , great restaurant. The only thing is that you can easily hear things through the walls. It's allowed dogs and you can hear them if barking , as well as the cleaning staff in the morning. Thus if you wanted to rest after staying out late , if you are a light sleeper this may not be for you .

Housekeeping need to improve abit.
The bathroom floor was not clean, the trash cans were not lined with plastic or liners.
The bathroom's seal was lose at the bottom of the door hence water leaked. (Facility maintenance) The iron box did not work either.
The front office staff was excellent and very professional. Check in/out was great.
The bed/ sheet/ blankets were soft and very clean- very comfortable and smelled good.

Rooms are not very clean, bathroom doors don't stay shut, and worst of all is the shower doors don't stop the water from escaping the shower and the floor gets soaked. The front desk attendant said all the rooms have the problem and that it can't be fixed.

The place was nice, new and mostly clean. For a Doral hotel it’s was pretty nice. People working there are not there to help you, or make “your stay better”. They are just working for the paycheck and you can notice. Like I said it was okay for a Doral hotel. Front desk simply won’t help you, mostly Bryan. Really frustrating staff, so if you need to stay in Doral for 2-3 nights maximum and not for vacation, I would recommend. But don’t see it as a place where you’ll spend great time or people will help you

The room wasn’t what I expected. The shower flooded the room every use because it wasn’t sealed . Bathroom didn’t have a door expect for where the shower was. To door slides to close but would slide right back open again like it was on an incline smh… house keeping never available so I had to mop up the water myself using towels and even getting towels was a hassle. Advertisement said we would get breakfast buffet included if I paid extra so I did.. turns out there was none. Had to select microwave options no real breakfast. And I paid extra to have the service and wasn’t even reimbursed. Will never stay here again.

The layout is not adequate some space for the cost. No room to have privacy area in the room. Lights were either to bright or too low where needed.. The lighting to bathroom were exposed to sleeping area. Waking others that were sleeping. Pool area has only 1 pool tanning bench. No refrigerator in room. Some staff friendly and lack hospitality.

Awful customer service. Tv didn’t work in the room and couldn’t even use phone in room to call front desk because the phone didn’t work either. AC in room stopped working halfway through the night as well. Called Front desk from cell phone only to be told that maintenance was gone and there was no manager. When we checked out we asked to speak to a manager again to discuss the issues with the room and that that we paid for a room where the tv didn’t work, AC broke overnight and the room phone didn’t work only to be told, you guessed it, there is no manager… I took videos of the issues with the room to show proof and apparently there is no one to provide the videos to. Absolutely awful experience. This hotel was a waste of money. Not to mention no AC during the night in Florida.
