A super hotel with kind staff. Great location for walking to the beach/local town and also close to the water park.

Good clean place to stay, with basic facilities. Close to a main road, but traffic noise not noticeable from room. The hotel is a little isolated from shops, so will need to do some walking, or take a cab.

Lovely continental breakfast included. Room was clean and bright. Not sure about the glazed glass door of the bathroom, but bathroom and shower was excellent. The outdoor pool was good, with nice recliners and the pool was a good size and rarely busy. Would definately recommend and we plan to visit again.

Spacious lobby and bar areas. Rooms were basic but perfectly adequate, especially the large shower area. Only thing missing from the room was a balcony to dry towels etc...

Amazing , helpful polite staff.credit to a very courteous, helpful, polite young Brazilian waitress , she’s spoke excellent English and was super helpful. Perfect for us ,very quiet ,happy people, lovely clean quiet pool ,breakfast was very good for 4 nights stay, will defo be back ,we walked to beach every day. huge room countryside view . perfect thank you.

Third time we have stayed here. Good air con, quiet, comfy bed, good shower. Maybe more options at breakfast, but it was sufficient enough for us. Supermarket couple of mins away, nice little cafe Happy Swallows just before the supermarket. Another good stay.

The Hotel Zodiaco's rooms are small, but they have far more space dedicated to enjoying the facilities than most hotels. There is a pool table, 2 seating areas, a patio, pool with lots of chairs including ones that are covered, a bar and a large breakfast area and restaurant for lunch. The facilities are always clean and you can see the staff wiping down beach chairs, and cleaning walkways etc. The staff seem to take great pride in the facility. The hotel is about 4 blocks from the beach area and promenade which has a lot of restaurants, including Fantastico which has a small menu of great Indian choices. The hotel is great for families with all of the common space and the free and ample parking was a big bonus.

The staff were all lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great location. The only problem we had was on one of the mornings some maintenance work started in the opposite room quite early in the morning but would definitely stay again. Great hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Zodiaco with my family for two nights in Quarteira. We arrived at the hotel ealier than our check in time. We were greeted by a friendly member of reception staff who allowed us to leave our luggage in the building until check in time. That way, we could stroll around Quarteira bag-free. The rooms were small but perfect for us who spend most of our time out in the town. There is a bar that serves a variety of drinks (including Amarguinha!) and a pool table. We had breakfast each morning and were happy with the variety on offer. The fruit could have been more fresh though, the apples and bananas were a bit overripe. Some things we would like to see improved before we visit again: One of our bathrooms had a broken heater so the room kept fogging each time we had a shower. It would also be good if there were glass cups instead of paper cups for drinking. Also, there was no separate bins for recycling and regular waste which I think is important for the environment. I would recommend Hotel Zodiaco to anybody looking for a stay at Quarteira who likes to spend a lot of time out and about in the town. It was nice to see solar panels on the roof of the hotel but their benefits should be stressed somewhere in the hotel's brochure. I always welcome care for the environment.

Very good overall

Stayed here last year so knew what the hotel was like. Great air con in room, individually controlled. Very comfy bed. Safe is 2 euros a night with 10 euro deposit. Hotel had just re-opened so fairly quiet. Breakfast was adequate, nice bread. Drinks reasonably priced. Will stay again.

We stayed at this hotel in mid November which is towards the end of its season. The hotel was quiet but the staff were still friendly & efficient. Breakfast excellent. It is only a walk onto Quarteria beach road and a short drive from Vilamoura, Qinta do Lago or the main A Road link to Spain or Lisbon. We would use again.

The price of the room was so reasonable and far exceeded our expectations. So clean and tidy throughout. Cannot find any faults and would strongly recommend . Would definitely stay in future.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. Clean throughout the hotel. Some people we have seen complained about little choice for breakfast but it's continental with everything you would normally get. The power in the showers was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again with a great location to the sea front. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

It was great, that we could check in at lunch time already. Close to the supermarket and breakfast was okay, only the coffee machine with instant coffee is a no go for us.

Very friendly staff at the reception desk and the bar; clean rooms and bathrooms; comfortable beds; late check out time; breakfast included. The hotel is located a short walk from the beach. There is also a local shop not far.

Very pleasant staff on check in, happy with room, great air con, comfy double bed, good shower. No where to dry off damp towels or costumes, so just hung them in the shower Nice quiet room. Quite a large pool area, comfortable good quality sunbeds, only issue was the mattresses held a lot of water, quite often our towels were wet, so not sure if it was people using them as they came out of pool. Took a while to dry. Breakfast was good, would be great to see some tomatoes! We enjoyed the coffee, nice scrambled eggs. We used the bar, friendly staff. Had a great week here.

Great value, very clean, friendly staff. Not on the beach as other hotels in the area, but not too far to walk to the beach.

This was a really simple hotel, and it seems like they are trying to save money on everything. We did not have a fridge, it costs to use the safe and we were not allowed to bring some breakfast the day we were flying home, even though it was only four minutes until breakfast started. I must say I am pretty disapointed and would not stay here again.
