Quite dated, did not look like the images, it was overpriced.

This property was very much how you'd want the main inn of a small town to be. Charm and character, whilst also well kept, modern facilities, good service and good breakfast.

Good overall, nice position esp for the Eden Project!

This hotel appears to be out of place where it is situated. Inside it is full of original features and character, a worthwhile place to rest with excellent food.

A busy Christmas meant there was not enough room at the in-laws' house. In situations like this, we usually stay at the White Hart Hotel. The hotel is situated right in the centre of town. St Austell is a modest enough destination. It's convenient for the Eden Project. I've always enjoyed our stays at the White Hart Hotel. The service is professional and friendly. Our Christmas meal was lovely. We'll definitely return.

The hotel was very good, the service by the staff was excellent. Parking, though, was not good. The hotel car park for guests was completely full even though few guest where actually staying. This meant i had to park a 10 minute walk away.

The meals were fantastic. ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very small for two people.

Historic hotel with good service and food

The White Hart Hotel had all the comforts for a relaxing stay. The staff was attentive and helpful, the breakfast and dinner options were excellent, and the room was large and comfortable. I would recommend a stay here as a base for visiting Cornwall.

Steep stairs to get to the bedrooms which some may struggle with. Reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Spent 45 minutes stood outside from 3am due to a fire alarm which was apparently set off by a tumble dryer being left on. No staff on sight and when someone did finally turn up to sort the alarm out he told us ‘don’t worry if it goes off again’. Don’t think I will stay here again but I will pop in for a pint.

Nice hotel in St Austell. Free parking over the road. Small carpark but can fit about 15 cars in. Great breakfast.

Room is satisfactory, not too spacious but decent room to place belongings. Very clean. Shower fixture was a little loose. No shower curtain present, not sure if intentional. Pub/restaurant area is lovely and they have an excellent and delicious breakfast menu. Shame I only stayed for one night as I'd have liked to try more food.

Great hotel, really enjoyed staying there. Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. Hope to return.

Stay was average priced more at the top end hotel was ok room was outdated and bathroom very average and generally in need of a makeover. Very noises in the morning. Food is poor at best had a few bits at dinner which were below average and sent back. Breakfast simply ok. Suggest eating elsewhere Charlestown for food short journey away. Very little to do in the area

Central Location

Location in the centre of St Austell was great it's just a shame St Austell is going through some tough times at the moment. The hotel is an old building which I liked. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bed was worn out and made my back ache room a bit tatty in parts and all a bit second band now
