This is a fabulous hotel with great staff. The breakfast buffet is incredible and our waiter Libario was fantastic. We love everything about it, the location, minutes from Trevi Fountain, the Metro close by and hundreds of rstaurants. Great experience

Staff at front desk was great. Parking was expensive and not clear however breakfast and room were excellent.

We had a short break in Bari, Calò Palazzo was the perfect location. The staff were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location in the old town was perfect with plenty of authentic places to eat & drink close by. The room was perfectly comfortable, clean with much needed air con. Breakfast was fresh with a good selection, friendly staff. Thank you to everyone at Calò Palazzo, we will definitely be back.

Great location in Old Town, and close to the main attractions in Bari. The room was spacious, but could have used more shelving in the bathrooms and storage for luggage/clothes. The AC worked well, which was awesome because it was very hot outside. The bed was our least favourite, the mattress was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Breakfast was the standard European fare but it was sufficient for us! The breakfast staff were very friendly.

Central to everything. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and our room was beautiful. Definitely would recommend.

This is a must stay at property! It is perfect… Staff, cleanliness & easy access to restaurants & port. We stayed here just 1 night prior to our cruise but if we come back, we’re definitely staying here. Roberta greeted us when we checked in, she was super friendly & very thorough when showing us around! She also called and scheduled our taxi for the next morning. Continental breakfast was yummy & easy serve yourself style. The gal servicing the restaurant was so wonderful! Also very friendly & sweet! It was a wonderful experience!

The hotel Palazzo Calo is excellent: caring staff, clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast. It is very safe, quiet and close to everything.

Property is in great shape

We had a suite with balcony in separate building with small lift. Our son unexpectedly joined us in Bari and the hotel was very gracious in making up a roll out bed in our suite. Hotel is convenient to absolutely everything. The old city is quite small so good to explore outside it to the more modern part as well. Bari is a lovely city. Breakfast was excellent and the bed very comfortable.

Great location and property. The beds are absolutely terrible and only have two thin useless pillows. The bed felt like a rock and I like firm beds.

We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent locaton, lovely big room and staff were very quick to reply to any email requests for taxis etc. I was slightly concerned about street noise after reading previous reviews, our room was located on the 1st floor and was very quiet during the night. Would have given 5 stars if additional pillows and an iron had been provided. Would stay again

The location was very central. I would give it a higher rating, but the roof leaked on to the bed when it rained, and the rooftop patio was closed for renovations when we were there.

The location of the Palazzo Calo is fantastic and a major benefit of the hotel. We didn’t find the stay uncomfortable and in fact the mattress was very comfortable! Overall however we felt the room facilities needed a deep clean and investment in some areas.

Beautiful located in the old town. It is also a brasseri at the Hotel, but you are in the middle of all restaurants and bars.

Great location, really nice breakfast, comfortable beds. There was work being done on the roof every morning which woke us up. Rooftop patio also was closed. Techical issue with credit card reader (poor wifi in lobby?) kept our payment from going through at first which was a time waster. Also the room design i found a bit awkward. Not enough comfortable places to sit or put things down. All that being said i might stay here again if in Bari because of the uniqueness of the location in old city.

The place looks stylish, the area is strategic, in the old town, the room is big and comfortable, the breakfast is good as well. Even if the place is nice and we spent good time there, I think that the value vs quality is not in balance and overpriced.

A charming B&B set in the old city of Bari but on the borders of the new city which is a fabulous retail centre. The old city is fascinating with incredible ancient architecture and little alleyways that are filled with lots of small bars and independent restaurants. Palazzo Calo has a charming receptionist who couldn’t be more helpful, a large roof terrace and a home made very Italian breakfast. The room was well presented with a kitchenette with basic cooking utensils. What is there not to like.

Very nice friendly small hotel in Bari’s beautiful old town. If you are visiting Bari this is a good option. The room included a small discrete kitchenette as well.

This hotel is as advertised except there is NO laundry. It is a beautiful hotel centrally located and the staff are amazing. I would recommend for sure.

Staff is very helpful but not available all the time. They are there in the morning and evening for a few hours and closed in the afternoon and night. We were given clear instructions through whts app for check-in on key pad and access to room key card. It was a small hassle walking with luggage bags and finding the place late evening as the taxi did not drop at the hotel as it was in no entry zone. Good thing they have an elevator and spacious rooms so its easy for bags. I really loved the location and wanted to book it for another day a week later for our return back to airport but unfortunately had run out of hot water on first day during our shower & ended up taking cold showers, took really quick showers next day to save hot water. Also, on both days, we were woken up by constant loud construction sounds, it was loud drilling and hammer sounds above our floor and around the area so our sleep was disturbed. If it wasn't for these couple of issues we would gladly book again as the location is fantastic, 5 minutes walking to central shopping and main tourist areas. We decided to wait to rent a car after checking out as their parking was $40 per night and 5 minutes away. Like other reviews said I agree they do need more light in the room. Maybe a table lamp would do. Book it for the nice staff and convenient location. Its the best location to stay in town. Can't go wrong with that.
