We had the 2 bedroom suite for our family. No one cleaned the room in the 4 nights we stayed there. The carpet was filthy. If walking barefoot, our feet turned black on the bottom. The motel is barebones, on the side of the road a few blocks from the nice parts of town. They should have seating outside the rooms for guests. The guy working the front desk was nice though and apologized for no one cleaning. Even so, the room still did not get cleaned the next day. I would not stay here again.

Everything was clean. There was a binder with dining options. It had everything I needed. No problems😊

We had a good stay

We had a two queen bed room that was in the corner. It was a last minute trip and was the only 2 bed room available. The check-in was easy and the hotel is within walking distance of the pier for whale watching (15 minutes with being stopped with construction). It is in a great location for walking to restaurants. The property is a little outdated but appeared clean other than the ants in the bathroom and some rust on the tiles. I would consider staying again.

The AC worked well. I did not realize that this hotel allows pets in the room, otherwise we wouldn’t have booked it. Our room appeared to have pets staying there previously. There was a distinct smell. I had dogs before so I know how difficult it is to clean the carpets, the dog/cat smell never completely goes away. Our room 201 was on the corner with windows facing busy street, it was noisy at night. The Hotel is overpriced for what it has to offer.

The room had an old odor but having the door open for a short while made a big difference. The room was comfortable and clean.

Room was very overpriced. ($254)Shower water faucet was broken. Walls and door were very dirty. Furniture had not been dusted in months. Coffee pot was too dirty to use.

Stayed here for easy drive to park. Location is very trashy but I can tell they are trying to improve things. The surrounding area is filled with homeless and going to the laundry mat was a bit interesting. Ac was musty smelling which we asked about and was told to open the windows to let it air out. Wouldn’t have done that on the first floor but we were on the second floor. This place seems like the only affordable option in the area. It is located next to an abandoned building as well as next door to adult toy store and gun shop. The trip to Walgreens down the road to buy some items provided us with more of the same experience of this city. Went to eat at a restaurant that evening where the manager visibly stepped outside to do a drug deal with some teenagers and left his understaffed restaurant to a stressed out waitress and a drugged up/ high bar tender that was playing rap music with curse words and dancing. This was a shock to us because we expected the area by the water to be nicer quality. Don’t expect much in this location if you stay here. Disappointing!

Room smells of urine

I stayed 2 separate nights in the same room. The management was nice enough to give me the same room. On my second night, the room smelt better, not as musty as my first check in . This inn is good for those who just need a place to sleep and go. I didn’t see a lot of resto around.

The room has the musty odor when we got there. I’m thinking it’s coming from the shower curtain that wasn’t changed? It’s good for 1 night stay. The overall look is dated. The sheets and towels can be better as they are thinning and grayish.

Very noisy location on busy road. Room smelled funny. Thin walls; the man next door sang (he sounded drunk) until late. Very popular with motorcycle riders.

Room had a harsh chemical odor

Other than the toilet flushed only half the time, it was cheap and surprisingly nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Royal Victorian was great motel, close to almost everything to most Port Angeles. The only thing that we did not like is it is not well insulated, can hear everything through doors. Above has some one walking like elephant especially at midnight. Last thing I recommend that separate light and vent because sometimes you don’t need the vent…

Very good customer service -accommodating to unique travel schedules! Comfortable, with the essentials. Just 1 thing that seemed to be overlooked-the blinds-either need to be replaced or deep cleaned. Convenient location for travel purposes!

property seemed run down and had a funny smell. my neighbors paid way less for their room. and we both went thru you. I will not stay there again or use your service

It was ok clean. But it's older so had stains. Bed was more comfortable than its lumpy appearance originally suggested. The location was pretty good, a 15 minute walk to the ferry.

A one night stay prior to taking the ferry to Victoria. This is a no frills hotel. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean, but really needs updating. The room was quiet, even though our room was right by the street. There did not appear to be any newer hotels in Port Angeles, so you have to take what you can get.

Plain to stay at the royal victorian, you won’t be sorry. The motel itself is very nice, rooms are quite comfy and well appointed. We were surprised at how nice our room was for the price!! Such a great surprise and pet friendly too!! The buildings surrounding it are a bit tired. And those damnable gulls lol! With plans to return to the area we will return for another stay!!
