This property is shameful. Filthy from top to bottom. A Wyndham franchise means nothing in this case. Cheap, yes, but not worth it. Lobby furniture is stained and disgusting. Hotel room had food (old and crusty) on the floor from previous occupants. Pulled back the sheets to check for bedbugs. Black specs under the sheet, not sure if they were bugs or not. Towels were old and scratchy (sheets, too). Did not get a wink of sleep, left at 6am.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I showed up with my paid reservation at 11pm with my young daughter. The 2 people behind the counter told me they didn’t have our room and turned us away. No apology, they could not have cared less. There were no other rooms in Council Bluffs. The lobby was filthy and full of cigarette smoke, the people behind the counter were rude and nasty, and there was open drug use going on in the parking lot just outside the front door. I started taking pictures to add to my review. At that point, the people behind the counter said “We have room! We have room!” And tried to give me a room. What??? I asked what room it was and it had 1 bed and was a “smoking room”. Didn’t know there was still such a thing. To add insult to injury, they told me they could not refund the room they didn’t have, but that I had to pay TWICE what I originally paid for a non-smoking, 2-bed room. I did not have the money, so we had to leave and fend for ourselves. Never an apology, nothing but attitude. They do not deserve to be on this site. I have included a picture of them callously turning me away and telling me to leave.

This must have been a decent hotel when it was built twenty years ago. But its management at some point just stopped caring.

This place was extremely dirty. The common areas had looked like it was not vacuumed in a week. I made my reservation with a card and wanted to pay cash when I arrived and checked in and the guy at the desk said to bad. We stayed 2 days and the senior citizen lady cleaning rooms was wearing pajama pants both days. We will definitely stay somewhere else next time.

Shower did nit work and beds felt like we were sleeping on a tin can. Breakfast just didnt taste right.

Beds base were noisy. Staff was good.

Ac was non functioning. No crib for our infant.

The blinds were damaged, TV didn't work, bedding was dirty, the cover to the AC was damaged. Told the staff about the TV and all he said was "I will see what we can do" and nothing was done.

The beds were awful. They had springs that squeaked with every movement and were VERY uncomfortable. I will not be staying there ever again.

Good custemer care

I liked my room . But i didn't like seenig drunk people out in the parking lot, and they only had one handycap parking spot

The light on phone flashed all night long. Needs remodeling, scuffs on walls and furniture. No shampoo or conditioner.

Very friendly staff, quick to fix things.

Our room was very old and worn out. The sheets and pillows were worn out. The chair in the room was so dirty we would not sit in it. The towels were so small and thin. The bed was comfortable though. Breakfast was ok. We would not ever stay there again.

Rooms were humid and musty. Shower was leaking and sink faucet was loose.

Decent hotel for a 1 or 2 night stay. The rooms could be cleaned better, noticed toe nail clippings under the chair when we moved it and some right next to the bed where the vacuum must not have got them. Need to do a little maintenace on the rooms. Our bathtub faucet did not completely shut off, so it had a small steady stream of water the whole time.

Good Hotel to stay with family

spring from box spring felt through mattress. Very uncomfortable. Pillows were flat and bathroom toilet seat didn’t have top.

Given the price, this is a good option

Bed bugs Air was broken

Cleanliness was an issue--corn chip from prior guests on the floor, garbage from prior guests was not emptied. Breakfast was acceptable and on par with other places I have stayed, but a breakfast host should have been working to handle wiping down tables, emptying garbage, etc.

Room was beat up and smelled. They chgd me $250 2 days after i checked out. When i called to see what chg was about i was told for smoking in room. I did not smoke in my room! I believe they saw me going out to smoke and decided i would be a good candidate to charge for said infraction.

Had a weird smell when I came in .

There was no working outdoor lock on the secondary building. The workout equipment wasn’t secured and there were no instructions. Couldn’t get anything to work. Property was fairly dirty and staff was very rude. No elevators available.

My wife and I had an easy check in. The front desk manager was polite and professional. The pool was nice and the room was clean. We came down for breakfast at 8:30. The waffles were delicious and our only disappointment was that the breakfast bar was not replenished- there were just two biscuits left and the gravy was empty with no attempt to refill. Ultimately, however, everything was wonderful and we will 10 out of 10 stay here again.

We stay in a lot of hotels in a year but this was by far one of the dirtiest places I have stayed in. The carpet was crunch and sticky in spots. We wore flip flops everywhere in the room after I walked barefooted and stepped in red gooey stuff. There were wrappers and pop bottle tops on the floor. Dust was hanging off the lamps and they were rusted out! Holes in the window treatments. Stains on the bed covers. So much ice in the freezer that you could not put anything in it. We wiped off the top of the nightstands, desk, TV stand and bathroom counter with wet wipes and went thru an entire container. It was filthy and disgusting!!! Pretty sure it was Black mold in the bathroom and went to a friend’s house to shower. The room had an odor the second you opened the door. Once we saw the ceiling and the kitchen when the door was open we decided to not eat breakfast there either! I don’t know how this place has passed inspection! I have pictures if you would care to see them! If we could have found another hotel close by we would have not stayed. We ended up buying pillows and sheets to sleep in. I would really appreciate my money make! Expedia needs to check this place out! It has made me now question using your company! We are very disappointed!

The pictures do not tell the true story. There were dead bugs on the floors, sand bags at thw exit door, workout facility was a super funny, eating area was dirty, rooms were nasty, just not acceptable.

Hotel was just ok. Room was not terrible but could have been better. Bed was rock hard, not very comfortable. Breakfast was mid at best.

If you want eco friendly this is your place!! They will NOT change your sheets for your entire stay and your entire party shares 2 bath towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth….want a bathmat? Not here! The washcloth works great! Hopefully you don’t have size 15 feet otherwise you dry off on your tippy toes! Don’t worry it provides endless entertainment trying not to fall into the toilet, no lids on these toilets which is super convenient when your running to bathroom in the middle of the night! The dim lighting really sets the mood if your wanting a romantic get away, it also makes the mold on the walls of the bathroom barely noticeable! What’s even better??? Parents this one is for you!!! You want an electronic free vacay??? GREAT NEWS! You all get to share one working outlet!! Honestly this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed if we could have gotten a room elsewhere during the CWS we would have left.

The room was dirty and appeared to have not been cleaned. There was a dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door hook and dirt and hair in the tub.

This place was dirty and gross. Had it not been 2am i would have walked to another hotel.
