Room was clean but overall had very Basic / no amenities!

I wish we would have had a coffee pot in our room. I will definitely return to the Atwater, but I’ll bring my own coffee.

Loved this spot so much! Lots of thoughtful amenities and services provided that really made our stay spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

The property had its pros and cons. Pros it’s close to everything since Avalon is fairly small that’s a nice bonus. There is a $20 credit offered every day from the time you check in at 4 PM until Midnight. We missed the first one because we had already purchased our food before being aware of the credit. Cons there is loud noise if you are sleeping on the street side of the building. We woke up to noise at 6 AM and asked the front desk attendant about this there was no resolution and the front desk attendant was not polite and seemed bothered by the call. Be warned you may not get great sleep if you are on the street side.

I don't know if it was because we booked through Expedia but we were placed in a room that had a view of the roof from all windows, was right by the stairs and elevator and whatever was on floor above us was very loud until after midnight and started again around 5:30am. The Room we were assigned was very nice inside but difficult to sleep and room felt very inferior with view and location compared to the beautiful premises

Location great. Clean. Being an older hotel, only had one elevator and the farthest rooms were quite the walk. But we all need exercise. No coffee pots in rooms nor a chair in our room. Very small rooms but beautifully done. No restaurant but a small walk-up with great coffee and scones. All in all, we loved our stay.

The staff, and especially Mateo, were absolutely WONDERFUL!! The staff did Special little things that made our stay even more special.
The only thing that was a drawback was the size of the room - extremely small but well appointed for size, so for one night it was fine.

Just amazed with the whole deal!!! But one person studd up a ltl more than the others shut out to Jim!!! .He did an excellent job he really cared about us all the time.

It’s nearby the beach shore. Tons of places to go eat at nearby. Pizza across street was really good!

The property was beautiful with modern decorations and comfortable beds. The location was great, short walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, store. The main downgrade is the size of the rooms. The queen bed room had just enough space to walk along the sides of the bed with only a little more space at the foot of the bed. The kitchenette area is the bathroom sink, mini fridge, and closet all in one space.

Beautiful property, though rooms are quite small. Staff was excellent except one girl that did not show a high level of customer service as the rest of staff. Maybe she was just having a bad day?

This was the first time I ever spent the night on land in Avalon. The Atwater was fabulous. The staff was so nice and patient. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

For the $500 a night cost this is a very underwhelming hotel. Tiny room with very bright lights that don't dim. AC unit took 3 hours to move 2 degrees. Great location and friendly, helpful staff.

I didn’t expect it was that small room as well as shower, feel like I spent a night in cage, swing my whole mood off when I opened door of my room and in the end they charged me $45 destination fee which they never mentioned earlier so overall it was bad experience.

The hotel is beautiful. Clean rooms a bit on the small side but it really doesn't matter. The downstairs area very nice clean as well they have bathrooms they have water with cucumbers. The staff is very nice.

Front Desk staff had an attitude problem. I didn't feel that I am welcomed. Looking for a luggage service and only received run around. Called several times to get a hold of Hotel staff and bell service personnel at the port. Ended up walk all the way from the port to the hotel.
