The refrigerator was in the closet the microwave in the bathroom not clean at all it looks like an old motel .

Third time staying here and plan to stay next year.

Quiet property, owner had my key card ready for me to pick up while he was gone. I called and he assured me payment was in no need of rushing. The hotel is on a steep hill that can put you out of breath but the view makes it worth it. Woke up and had my coffee on their mini patio with a wonderful view of the city/ocean.

This was great but the only thing is that you have to walk a lot to get there. Recommended to get a taxi to take your luggage.

The first two days were absolutely wonderful. The hotel is modest but has all the kitchen accommodations you would need and every staff member up until Monday was so kind and helpful especially a gentlemen named Ivan (youngish bearded man if I’m correct) he went above and beyond for us! But unfortunately the last day when we were checking out a gentlemen was fairly rude to us. Gave us a voucher for a taxi to get to the boat area which was extremely generous of him but when he handed it to us he stated “here because I’m tired of hearing you complain!” We were bummed we couldn’t leave our luggage at the resort until our departure which is what he was speaking of. It was unfortunate he was rude to us as the rest of our stay was wonderful! Shout out also to the awesome cleaning staff thank you for your kindness and welcoming smiles each day!

Location was good, rooms was large with good light, the kitchen area was ok if not fully stocked for cooking.

It was quite and staff were wonderful. Pillows could use updating.

We do t think our room was cleaned when we got there. The toilet had poop in it and the floors were dirty. Then the power went out. It was loud and what was supposed to be an air conditioner barely worked. We had to sleep with the door open. I would not recommend this place or go back. Things were in disrepair.

Good hotel, good room!

This place was pretty run down. The room was dirty, we never got clean towels and could not get them to bring us any. They were sanding the hand rails above us while we were drinking on the patio

I loved the island stye of the room - especially that it included a kichen.

It was great for a family with 3 kids! We needed room and we had it

It’s up on a hill so without a golf cart you do have to walk up but honestly not that bad especially with the view we were given.

The room was clean

My daughter and I had a nice stay. We liked the kitchen and the room was well kept. It was definitely walkable if you don’t mind a little bit of a steep hill. I was glad we got a courtesy taxi ride there as it would have been trickier to bring our bags up the hill. Just go to the taxi stand at the ferry landing and tell them you are headed to Terado Terrace. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. There wasn’t always someone at the frot kiosk but a text brought quick service.

I liked that the property was walking distance to everything. Hotel was very clean and had a beach view. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay!

Hotel was ok. Bit of a walk up a hill from downtown Avalon. Taxi was included in our rate from ferry dock to hotel upon arrival which was nice. Room keys left on counter at front desk. Room had a paint odor when we first arrived. Only small portable A/C unit in room that could barely keep up. Beds were ok, pillows were hard. 3 people and 2 double beds make sleeping a bit crowded. Room clean, floor was dirty. Make sure to wear socks or shoes at all times when in room. Staff responded to text after a bit of time when needed. Over-all a fair stay on a beautiful Island. If you need anything after your visit though don't expect to get any type of response. We tried to get ahold of the office after our stay. No response by text using the number that guest are suppose to use if no one at front desk. 4 phone calls and no return call. Don't hold your breath if you need anything during or after your stay.

Great location for families! Full kitchen makes it easy to make and prep meals for kids while traveling. We love this place! We have stayed here twice and will definitely continue to book rooms here in the future.

Nice stay at this boutique hotel--friendly staff that was helpful when needed. Clean room, the air conditioner did leak a lot of water onto the kitchen floor that we needed to clean up every time we used the A/C, but overall was in a nice area with a good hill climb--did the job.

The room was OK. The bed was comfortable, but most of the pillows were rock hard. This made it difficult to sleep.

Loves staying at this property. Super convenient and comfortable.

I really enjoyed staying here. The view from the balcony was nice, the staff was nice, having a full kitchen saved a lot of money on eating out and it was nice to be able to stay in and relax sometimes. The bed was comfortable, and the little dining area was nice, as was the patio. It is up a fairly steep hill so be prepared to either rent a golf cart or take a hike. It was no problem for me as I really enjoy walking and the view from above also made it worth it. I also enjoyed being a bit away from the noise of the main downtown. I would absolutely stay here again!!

The owner was so sweet and helpful! We appreciated her a lot. The only downside is the person at the front desk. He was not that nice to us even when telling him that the owner said we could leave our bags there. We left a necklace in the room by mistake that’s very important to my aunt as it’s from her wedding and called to ask them if it was there and we are still waiting for the front desk employee to call us back.

Staff at front desk was never to be seen as needed. No one was at front desk to check me in. Key with my name was left unattended outside. Pillows and mattress were the worst ever experienced anywhere

Room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Appliances were dated but worked and everything else in the room has been updated. Staff was very accommodating. Appreciated the free taxi from the dock when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay.

The property pictures were very misleading. Only one unit had a view or a place that you could sit and enjoy Catalina. The downstairs had a good AC. Upstairs and 2 bedrooms was HOT. only portable AC units and it would not cool down. Couldn’t sleep with windows open because all rooms connected by balcony. All sliding glass doors were unlocked when we got there. Said they had good wi-if that could be used through most of town. Find it had to believe as it wouldn’t work in our room. Cable went out last night of stay and no internet in a hot room Would never stay here again and do not recommend.
