A disappointing stay from start to finish. Really rude staff (excluding the reception staff and Camilla) poor quality food, bad access points to rooms, basic furnishings, the breakfast buffet was honestly no better than a 3 star hotel. If you’re looking for something luxury and 5star, you will not get it here.

A really poor stay at Baobab! Not a 5 star hotel at all. All restaurant staff were extremely rude and not welcoming at all. Often stood for 15minutes at an empty bar waiting to order food. Staff would see you waiting and then continue to ignore you. The food was very basic and often poor quality. Not what you’d expect for a 5 star hotel. I wish we’d stayed in the Hard Rock instead.

We stayed as a group of friends and experienced the worst service I think I’ve ever come across in any hotel. The restaurant staff were incredibly rude throughout, the food was very basic and sometimes quite shocking considering it’s a 5 star hotel. On multiple occasions, they got our food order wrong and visibly huffed when we asked them to correct it. The rooms were basic, very hard to get to due to the limited access points, so we regularly got lost. The grounds of the hotel were also quite dirty, especially the lifts and strong smell of bins. Quite a shocking stat to be honest.

The classes at Activate were great. The children’s playroom was immaculate and beautifully designed. Our apartment and balcony with jacuzzi was incredible. The jacuzzi was definitely worth getting!!

Just got back from an amazing seven days at Baobab and was so sad to leave ! We stayed in a 2 x bedroom suite with pool and was perfect ! My brother was recovering from a major operation so we hardly left our suite and didn’t need to as got food delivered from room service which was really good and not far away was a mini market to get drinks etc the spa was brilliant too as my brother had a couple of massages , the staff are all so lovely and go above and beyond to help with anything you need and a huge thank you to Camilla ! We will definitely be booking again !

Beautiful place with really friendly and helpful staff. Food was lovely too. We didn’t get our upgrade and the only complaint we have is that the hot water runs out very quickly. Also, it doesn’t a shop for essentials.

Everything about our stay was amazing and super relaxing. We had a 2 bedroom suite with hot tub and "beach" area overlooking the sea. Breakfasts were brilliant, particularly in the BB lounge. The staff could not do enough for us. We used the gym and padel courts as well as the kids club. Everything was marvellous, would highly recommend as a place to stay.

We stayed in a one bed apartment with jacuzzi on the balcony. It had all the kitchen appliances you need. The bedroom at the back was comfortable and quiet. The views were excellent. The balcony was large and the automatic sunshades were very good allowing you to choose from full sun or shade. There were 3 options for breakfast, buffet, lounge or in apartment and all were very good in their own way. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A fantastic hotel and experience. Breakfast buffet is excellent and recommended by everyone in our family. View from hotel is great. Easy 10-15 minute walk from beach.

Just back from a great stay at Baobab Suites - we loved it! Booked into a 2 bed pool villa and was perfect - vista, room design, pool size, breakfast in BB Lounge, reception staff, bar staff. Not a single complaint!

They didn't recognise my Gold status. The hotel was quite empty during our stay. I had to fight to get an upgrade, in the end I had to pay to get the upgrade (a reduced rate). The staff are great, and the food brilliant. I just shouldn't be made to feel grateful for something im entitled too...

Modern, clean, spacious and airy. Beautiful sea views from our balcony. Breakfast boxes were generous. Room cleaning services were very good. Very comfy bed. Overall good value for money. Definitely recommended. Quite a hilly area though so you need to be fit to walk, have a car or use a taxi. Taxi rates were very reasonable.

Nice high end hotel that feels premium throughout. Suites are modern and well equipped. We had the Infinity Mar suite with a pool and a jacuzzi, both were heated so great for February evenings. Kids club was highly recommended by our 4 children (4,7,7 and 10yrs). The whales and dolphins trip they recommend at check-in is well worth a trip too.

This has nothing to do with a 5 star hotel. Rooms have not atmosfere at all It is just like an hospital, limited service facilities, cold swimming pool, no transportation to the beach, The only plus is that the staff is polite and gentil.

Faultless hotel. Staff were beyond friendly and helpful from reception to restaurants. Apartment and hotel were spotless and apartment was quiet with no noise from hotel or other rooms. Breakfast excellent in both locations. Pool area gorgeous and no issues with beds. Gorgeous views. Brilliant stay would highly recommend

Would have liked somewhere just to buy an ice cream. Loved the daily water and the views from the balcony. The pool was lovely too. Could not get onto the website as it was a shared wifi which my phone would not allow. Reception staff were extremely helpful, cheerful and friendly.

Stayed for 5 nights. Lovely bright and airy apartment, huge balcony with lovely views of mountains and sea, big breakfast delivered daily, friendly and helpful staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Suites that are more like small apartments with a hotel wrapper. So you get all the benefits of a hotel but your own space too. The staff were very friendly and service was really quick should you need anything. Gorgeous balcony and sea views, comfy bed, huge bathroom and we had breakfast brought to us every morning - private breakfast on our own balcony. Brilliant health club and restaurant. Loved it!

Good location and hotel kept very clean but staff not very attentive and lacking service quality. Bar really slow to server or acknowledge our presence. reception desk not brilliant at restaurant recommendations and could do a lot better.
