We loved our stay at Casa do Valle. The accommodations were fantastic and the surrounding area was stunningly beautiful.

Casa do Valle offers a home away from home setting in the Sintra area. I like that you can walk to town in 10 minutes up hill and it is down hill back to the hotel. Rooms had balconies and views. It was very comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.

Difficult to get there and without the car is quite tiering. Problems with arranging the taxi. The staff is not flexible and did not interest much in our comfort. Very nice lady during the checkout at least - thank you for your kindness. Breakfast was delivered to the room which was great however it was not much. Beautiful views and a calm area - that is what we expected and that was the reason for the booking. Hospitality could be better. Sintra is a very commercial place with a nice historical heritage but you can miss the Portuguese spirit that you can experience in Lisbon or Algarve. Thanks anyway.

Hard to find driving, the sign is a tile in the wall and difficult to see. Google gets you there and then you need to look for the tile. Only 500 meters from the National Palace and central tourist area. Quiet location, nice views.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly cozy, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. What stood out to me the most was their attention to detail – everything was just perfect. Plus, the view from the hotel was simply amazing. It’s evident that the people who run this place have a genuine love for what they do. Highly recommended!

More amazing than it looks in pics!! Quaint little rooms. Beware there is no AC but evaporated cooler. This was fine in early May but superior rooms that look up to castles get no cross ventilation. Sweet breakfast served to your room. Really special place. Highly recommend. Very difficult to find. Use google maps or call and ask for them to send a pin.

Quaint hotel in a beautiful location! Casa do Valle is located in a quiet spot about a 5-minute walk from the heart of old town Sintra. It is surrounded by trees and the sound of birds, and offers amazing views of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was cute and comfortable with a small fireplace and balcony. It was on the small side, though, and it could use a bathroom and furniture refresh. If you don't mind a bit of a walk to get into the heart of Sintra, Casa do Valle is a great place to stay!

This B&B is in a quiet location, a bit out of the way. It is difficult to compare it favourably with the excellent Lisbon hotel we were in previously. The beakfasts were very good (delivered to your room) and the shower excellent. We were in a Superior room.

Beautiful place to stay in Sintra. It is not in the middle of all the tourist area, but it is a short walk away (uphill both ways of course, as seems to be everywhere here 😉). It is very quiet and charming, and the staff are amazing. The grounds of the villa are worth spending time and exploring, and there are many places where you can enjoy a coffee or glass of wine surrounded by beautiful nature. Only thing we regret is not having planned to spend more time in Sintra, as it is worth it.

Great service, great location

Heater didn't work so it was a cold night. Steps to reach the room are slippery and without any night light so rather dangerous. Other than that, the staff is really nice and the room is nice too.

My friend and I were very impressed by Casa do Valle. The rooms were bigger than expected and very clean. I loved the simple but homey aesthetics. They had a Finnish sauna, massages, a pool, a teeny tiny library, and a shared dining space. The grounds were very well kept and had an amazing view of Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle all lit up at night. Staff were helpful, informative, and friendly. It was like a ten minute walk into the historic center. My friend and I, both female, felt perfectly safe walking back up at night. I highly recommend and I will definitely be staying again when I return to Sintra.

The room and view were amazing. The staff wonderful. The shower was not draining properly and not the best shower experience in our travels.

The surroundings were just beautiful, I would be very happy to wake up each morning with the view that I had. Breakfast is served in your room in a beautiful basket at whatever time you request it. It was peaceful and quiet and the staff were so nice, Special kudos to the young lady at the front desk, she was so sweet and helpful... I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Sintra.

It is a little out of the way and somewhat tricky to find by car. Check your directions twice. The check in was very friendly. The standard room I stayed in was not inspiring. Low ceiling and rather spartan. Their upgraded rooms might be more exciting. Breakfast was simple, but good. It’s in a beautiful location with an amazing view of the valley and up to the castles.

Such friendly, helpful staff on Reception. Absolutely stunning views across the mountain. Fairly simple bedrooms but clean and the separate kitchen has lots of facilities. I liked the eco-friendly focus. Also nice to enjoy breakfast in the room!

Didn’t realize I’d booked a Guest House but other than trouble driving to it via windy uphill narrow streets, the place was lovely and inviting. Lots of special care and extras.

Nice bed and breakfast about 10 mins walk away from the center. Room a bit outdated, but every small detail thought through and worked perfectly. Beautiful view from the rooms and pool side.
