If you are transiting through Port Moresby this is the place to stay. The Stanley has convenient airport shuttles that travel to and from the airport every half hour. Walking directly into the Vision City Mall from the hotel is great for shopping before flying out.

Well located.

The good: the staff was friendly, it is connected to the mall, the pool and gym were very nice, and the food options were good. The bad: the first room we went into had a huge RAT in the drawer eating the sugar for the tea. The staff said sorry and changed our rooms but didn’t do anything else to apologize for that. The second room we were in was nice but the TV didn’t work. We called and asked them to come fix it and they didn’t come for 5 hours even though we called and asked twice. We thought breakfast was included in the price but it was not and was an expensive, but very nice buffet. Overall, I probably wouldn’t come back to this hotel

About the room: 1.) The house keeper did not vacuum thoroughly the carpet and did not mop the bathroom especially the area near the toilet bowl. 2.) The house keeper did not replenish towel and I have to call to front desk to ask for it. 3.) The house keeper did not provide tooth brush and tooth paste until i called to front desk asked for it. 4.) The mattress, bedsheet and blanket sheet have stains on it. 5.) The hotel do not provide harder mattress only soft topper mattress. 6.) TV channels are very limited About the food in both lounge and greenhaus restaurant: 1.) The waitress attitude is bad, they did not provide serviette on the table only use napkin to rapped up the utensils, when I suddenly need to sneeze I covered my nose and mouth wt the napkin, the waitress walked over warned me not to use napkin instead asked them for serviette, what kind of service is this? 2.) Food variety are very limited especially breakfast. The scramble eggs so salty! 3.) At least should add some noodles and more asian food. 4.) The salad station do not provide steam corn, beans and lettuce only some fruits.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful.

The customer service was exceptional, very friendly & accomodating staff who will do anything they can to make you stay an ejoyable. The only bad thing was drainage in the shower as the tiles were not laid properly so you had to close the water taps so as not to flood the shower room. Apart from that really enjoyed my stay.

Great pool for the family to enjoy, buffet breakfast and dinner are great options. Rooms are specious and beds comfortable

My daughter and i stayed at the stanley. We love the saftey and convince of being connected to the mall. I love being able to work out in the gym, and of course the 5 star atmosphere the Stanley provides.

Safe and convenient for my family to access shops and restaurants within the shopping centre.

Convenience and comfort

I always stay at the Stanly when flying through Port Moresby. The rooms are spacious and clean. Their airport shuttles leave every half hour. The Vision City Mall is connected to the hotel and is convenient for any last minute shopping or more food options.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Stanley Inn and Suites. It’s great being attached to vision City Mall, and to have access to all the shops, and restaurants there. It is becoming our POM go to hotel!

The Stanley is a great place to stay in Port Moresby. The staff are very professional. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The access to the Vission City Mall is a convenient option to avoid having to find a taxi to do shopping.

It was convenient and easy parking.

Convenient location,access to supermarket, clean room, friendly lobby & wait staff. There is a 30 minute wait for Ala Carte however the buffet sufficient and available in the restaurant. Water needs to be served when seated in restaurant and servers need to be attentive (sometimes it was hard to find someone) and smile more. Suggestion: a shuttle between Stanley , Hilton & Holiday Inn to allow guests to travel to/from neighbouring hotels to experience additional dining options for breakfast/ lunch and Dinner. All guests are to be addressed as Sir/ Ma’am / Madam as a courtesy and in English, unless staff the is addressed/ greeted by the guest in pidgin (tok pisin) or other local language. Assuming guests speak tok pisin or addressing a guest as susa (sis) is unprofessional. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend Stanley as a place to stay.

Every time I stay at the Stanley, I'm reminded why I keep choosing it. It's lovely, comfortable, clean with excellent service and food. I have yet to find something to complain about - and this stay was no different. Five stars across the board in every way.

The Stanley is somewhat run down, the general cleanliness around the building is not up to standard, items in the room were poorly finished and the rainshower did not work properly. On the plus side the pool and pool area are nicel. As pne of the most expensive places to stay in PoM it does not represent good value for money and you'd be far better off staying at the Hilton

Love that they are connected to the Vision City Mall; lots of choices for dining and shopping without having to hire transport. Unfortunately, their pool and outdoor entertainment area was under renovation and not accessible during our stay.

Very convenient location next to Vision City mall. On-site parking, ok internet, nice pool and gym facilities. Best place to stay in Port Moresby.

I loved the location next to the mall. The Stanley is very nice and very clean. Room decor was lacking, and the pillows were too full. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Rooms suffer from poor quality fittings. My shower had more water out the side of the shower rose than out the head. Asked housekeeping to look into it but nothing done after 3 nights.
