This hotel staff here are very proud of their hotel (now the Onomo brand) and were responsive to our queries which were very few. It is conveniently located in downtown, close to many banks and other major institutions allowing for easy movement. Excellent Gym; Pool is small but clean. Our only issue was the internet per device which frustrated us from time to time as we logged in after a long drive from Nairobi unaware of the rules, which was frustrating. Good breakfast spread. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Good value for money.

Great modern new hotel. Staff are super friendly and the food in the sky bar was the best in Dar Es Salaam. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Pool on the 6th floor is also a great welcome from the heat. Ferry is also a 5 min ride. Great location

The hotel is new and well located in a good aerea the service was perfect the room was very clean i want to recommend for it.

The service in the restaurant really is the only thing that let's this hotel down. I twice went there and sat outside with clients and each time staff walked past inside and looked through the window but just ignored us. After 20 minutes I had to get up to get service. The 2nd time i was there on my own sitting in the shade. It took so long the sun moved round to the table. As I got up to move they finally asked if I wanted anything by which time I had had enough. This is not an isolated incident. I have stayed there many times and it is only the service from the restaurant that let's it down. The bell boys are great and so helpful Reception staff and housekeeping good. Nice rooms. good location. The food and beverage manager really needs to get his act together

The Ramada Encore was my first point of contact when arriving in Dar Es Salaam. The staff was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, extraordinarily helpful and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. I will always return to Ramada Encore when in Dar and give them my highest recommendation!

Shower drain smelled fouled. Gym equipment malfunctioning. Food and bed were amazing.

Extremely disappointed with the level of unprofessional ism and rudeness of the incociderate managers at this hotel. They should be fired and replaced by more professional and compassionate managers.

The wifi was spotty and wifi calling was a challenge. However I would stay here again.

Location, location, location...The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Throughout the hotel there's AC so it's pleasant to be anywhere...

Central location in Dar es Salaam. Basic hotel amenities. Suitable for short stay. Check-out took over 20 mins. Give yourself plenty of time!

After complaing to the manager the complaint was not even followed up. I'm even doubting I got new sheets to begin with!!!!!

Nice hotel with great view of the Indian ocean, over the golf course in down town Dar. Walk to Dar museum, conference center, harbor, shopping. Very accomodating with shuttle bus to airport, 45 mins away, depending on traffic.

There was a fire in the room next to mine on the 7th floor. I stepped out to see staff standing around in the hall. Then I smelled burning and saw smoke. One staff ran past me - did not even look at me. By now my room was filling with smoke. I travel light so took my bag and briefcase and headed for the stairs. No one said anything to me. I got through the door to the stairs and dropped some things. While picking them up a man in a suit came through the door, walked past to look out the window and said to himself, "I think it will be alright." No information, no guidance, no assistance. I asked him if this was how his hotel managed crises. His reply? "I'm the financial controller." So not his area, not his problem. I got to the lobby on 6. Behind me a voice said 'did you come from 7?’ It was a woman from the back office. I was struggling with my things and asked her if she could help me with my briefcase so I could set up in the breakfast room - about 20 feet away. I handed it to her and turned to the breakfast room. Then she said, with disgust in her voice, 'I can't carry this.' Those exact words. She refused to help me. Put the bag down. This is a terrible reflection on the hotel. What is more serious than incompetence on safety? And the behavior of that woman and management was unconscionable. I had to ask for a new room myself. No one approached me to check in or explain. I will never stay there again and I will be writing to Ramada corporate HQ.
